    Maybe they could wear badges...

We will be back to Victorian values next, the deserving and undeserving poor and the workhouse to look forward to in old age. The more things change the more they stay the same.

Ah, anecdata, I have some of that too.

I'm 27, only one of my close friends has divorced parents. In my extended circle of friends those with parents still living together are very much the majority.

I'm not sure because I'm the only one in my family to have seperated, all my friends are still with thier husbands, and both my children are in groups of five or six friends who all live with both parents.

Maybe I'm just unique in the this day and age, although it would be nice sometimes to have someone around who understands the pain of it all.

That's the thing on here isn't it? There's always somebody waiting to have a snipe, even at somebody who has been here for a long time and clearly wants to make a difference for the right reasons.

Maybe it's something to do with my location? North East England?

Incidentally do you know many kids under like 12? How many of their parents are still together, out of curiosity?

Its probably more to do with your prejudice and your martyr complex.
