Then thats now really okay. Should have nudged her elbow ("accidently") and watched as they all toppled out of her arms. Then quietly walk away whilst shes left picking up whats left of her dignity:D
I was in Morrisons today and the sale bit in the meat section was blocked by some guys trolley whilst he went through the offerings. But he was actually very apologetic when I asked him politely if I could get there & he realised his trolley was in the way. So not everybody is like this(just the majority of them hehe).

I sometimes do the second reductions on fresh and I usually have to check if I still have my kidneys by time I finished marking the stuff down.0

What's a tight get all? Or was there supposed to be a full stop somewhere in there?0 -
1) Do the checkout staff really have time to notice what is rung up? I would have thought they would be too busy looking for the next item and working out how to orient it for the barcode scanner - isn't that why the checkouts beep?
2) Do the self service tills call a member of staff anyway when reduced items are scanned? They seem to complain at the drop of a hat.[
i worked on self scan and checkouts so i think i can answer this
1) We were trained not to look for barcodes but to keep an eye on the screen so we can check that prices and offers were going through correctly. Its not hard to scan things without looking after a bit of practice
2) It doesnt get us to check reduced items but for some reason it sometimes doesnt like the weight and sometimes they dont even scan. I think I probably have accidently bagged a few things without realising that the beep noise doesnt always mean its scanned...
Hope that helps!0
