200,000 years?!! Don't be daft, Adam and Eve were created 6000 years ago, that's how old the earth is.

But he didn't create them until Saturday and the earth had been around since at least Tuesday.

Modern humans have been around for 200,000 years. Please tell me you don't think that was the beginning of time. Earth is 4.5 billion years old.

    Apologies, how stupid of me.

I agree that the earth is billions of years old. I have never said that the earth is only 6000 years old!

The precise date when mankind came into being is not something that we've been told. It may well be 200,000 years ago but I wouldn't use the term modern humans as that is a term from something I don't believe in. When I said beginning of time I didn't mean that from the precise moment the world began we were here but that we are part of the whole process which took a considerable time.

And don't forget they had two sons who managed to create the rest of the human race between them.

Can you elaborate on this because that doesn't make one bit of sense.

... funny that, considering many modern Christians object to 2 men having a family together these days!

This has gone way off topic and for my part I apologise to the OP.

I have the person you quoted on ignore so have no intention of replying. I just think going round and round in circles does nobody any good and have had enough of having my beliefs belittled.

Yes, enough's enough. Perhaps you could go off and read up on plate tectonics. You might learn something.
