It's been a bit of a shock going back to work and I haven't had time to log on. The decluttering has been continuing but I still have lots to do. It does look better and I'm feeling a little happier about it. I need to start looking at some sort of storage for the things I need to keep. I have a goo idea but it will take some building.

I have been trying to be more careful with money and hopefully by the end of the month there will be a little left to pay towards debt. Fingers crossed.

Tomorrow I have a busy day planned. I could do with more rain so I don't wander outside, or perhaps some more willpower.;)

I'm feeling very focused and positive at the moment. I am going to be successful.

So it's been a very busy weekend. I took the little one to the Land Rover family day. It was such a nice day and DS had a great time. It's also nice to see a company putting time into staff, I would faint if my employer did that.

I have planned a day of getting all those small annoying jobs which have been hanging over my head done. I have already done the shopping, rehung the curtains and the washing so feel I have made a good start. I'm going to get tea for tonight done early and make some bread. Then it decluttering, cleaning and sorting.

I was planning to take DS swimming but it's cold and damp so I'm going to take him Friday which will be a nice way to start the weekend. I do have till 5pm until I have to fetch DH from work so should get plenty done.

Off to get going now and not mooching on here all morning.;)

It's been a bit of a struggle trying to get on here whilst being at work, never mind. Some more decluttering has been going on and I have also been sorting through papers :eek::eek: what a dreadful job. It didn't take too long as I had done the majority a few months ago so need to make some time each week to sort out what I need to. I have a filing cabinet so it should be easy really.;)

Not a bad week at work until the end really. I can't go into detail but it ended with me being physically assaulted by a student (that sounds a bit dramatic but it has shook me up a little). I know it's part of the risks doing the job I do but I have got to a point in life that I don't need or accept it. On a positive note it has made me all the more determined to get out at the end of this academic year. Trouble is days are ticking by so quickly I worry I will run out of time.

I have always spent my life waiting for someone to give me the go ahead to do things, I don't know why I'm just odd I guess but no more. I'm enjoying making a few decisions for myself and know that success is coming. A few more hours in the day would be helpful though.

Money is a problem at the moment. I have little left but all the bill are paid so really it should be no issue. I would just like the comfort blanket of emergency savings I think.

Anyway DS has just woke so it lunchtime for him. Off we go again.

I can't believe as of midnight I will be in the 200's.

A lot has been achieved today on the sorting the house front.i feel that I have started to make a difference in the house and once it is completely de-cluttered/de-hoarded I can start doing the pretty stuff.

I have been discussing the plans I have with DH who is totally behind me and after a lot of brainstorming I have a lot more ideas.

This afternoon I want to finish what I was up to upstairs and continue sorting through my stash. I find it very, very difficult to throw stuff away but as I do more I'm beginning to find it a little easier.

Also I have decided that I need to find at least three months salary in savings between the final debt payment in February and the end of July. Mmmmmmm.

Anyway I must get on because before I know it I will be in the 100 days or less and really be panicking.;)

  • Grr I have just done a really long post and it looked like some computer programming jargon so had to delete it. Anyway...............

    292 days to go

I have made headway with most of my plans and feel reasonably happy with this. I do tend to be a little impatient so I struggle most of the time.;)

The de-hoarding has probably been the biggest positive move and although I have lots to do but I now know I can do this. I'm going to spend this week focused on one thing so more de-hoarding it is. I have been joining in on the de-hoarding thread av it has been very helpful. I just need to get rid of more stuff so all the other jobs which are planned will be easier.

So off I go and will return with an honesty list of stuff thrown out, etc.

    285 days to go

Blimey Monday again already. Weeks are passing in an absolute blur at the moment. I still have loads to do and need to start making more productive lists as I'm tending to flit from one thing to another at the moment.

    So today.....
Clear the front garden of litter(again). I'm so sick of doing this, what's wrong with people, do they have no reject for themselves or others?Roll on wheelie bins. Sorry litter is a real pet peeve of mine. Done

    Mend the bathroom door.Done

Put away washing. I must keep things running as efficiently as possible.Done

Remake the bed with fresh linen.Done

Check through the stash and see what I have and what I need for planned projects. Done

One more hour of cleaning. I have tried to be fly lady but feel more at home with the de-hoarders.:oDone

Sort out the little one toys.Done

    Vacuum the car if time.

Off I go then. I won't get done reading MSE all afternoon.

So I have managed to achieve all of the jobs I wanted to this afternoon so have a few more things I need to achieve.

    Pay the water bill.Done

Get some more gas and electricityDone

Change home insurance supplier. I have been with Co-Op for a number of years and tend to find thy reasonable but had a renewale for £319. After a little searching I have managed to find a quote for £122. It's a no brainier really but tend to use co-op as I prefer their ethical policy. Unfortunately I can't afford some ethics at the moment.:(Done

Look into a new life insurance. Stupidly when I took out this mortgage I got insurance with it which costs me £36 per month. I have been quoted a lot less so that will be the next job.

I have also been checking out car insurance so can halve that too when it's due for renewal.

:mad::mad:Why is MSE so addictive. It's amazing how many hours I can spend mooching from thread to thread. I have been known on occasion to read the whole of a long, meaty one and feel exhausted but satisfied at the end how well I had done with the debt, then realising it's not me it was someone else. Honestly sometimes my imagination just runs away with me.:o

Off sick today. I'm feeling very odd and poorly with some very strange dizzy spells. I hope it passes soon as I don't like feeling ill at all. I have done some research as I want to improve my diet and exercise. I was looking into macrobiotics and it seems such a faff to be honest. I then found a site about eating clean which looks good and a bit more doable. Also if it helps shift the 2 1/2 stone I have piled on in resent years then all the better.

Not anything done towards the business. Work has been a nightmare and I need to learn how to make time for me.

I keep feeling frustrated over the debt but have been trying to think that every payment made is a step closer to freedom. This month is a real struggle but as long as I have paid all the bills I don't need anything extra. I just don't like having no money at all. I have just started the 7 day fiscal fast over on 'old style' and find it a great help. The folks there are lovely too.

I need to motivate myself later and find a way to get rid of this drained feeling. I think a spell back on the iron tablets are calling -Yuck.

Feeling touchy today diary. Another day of work as I can barely find the energy to put one foot In front of the other. This is very unlike me and it's so frustrating.

Also a few health worries which stupidly I have been researching on the net and of course came across the obvious life threatening diagnosis. I have a doctors appointment for Monday but I know things will be playing on my mind between now and then. To be honest I'm feeling very scared. I keep thinking about my DS and that I don't want to leave him so young. I know it's probably something a lot less disaster outs but it's still there picking away. Why were heads not supplied with an off switch for these occasions.

Not much else done. Complete lack of motivation at the moment. Sorry for moaning diary but need to get it off my chest.
