Dad didn't know we'd rung for him and says he was heartbroken as we hadn't been in touch as Mum fielded the calls and said we didnt't want them anymore. The same as she said to Andy about my dad. Just had my dad in tears on the phone 'cos he thought he'd lost us becuase of my "Mum". Not a good feeling and not going to lunch, Dad coming here in morning to talk to us and see kids and get things sorted.

Don't feel too good at the moment and I dread to think whats going on at their house but at least both me and my dad know we love each other and he/we want to be a part of each others lifes. I'm angry more than anything as she has hurt my dad when there was no reason to and its a horrible sound to hear your Dad crying down the phone to you. yes he'd had a drink or two so that probably made him worse but nonetheless it cut me up. I honestly feel like hitting her and I'm the least person ever that would want to do that.

Not going to do anything stupid so dont worry, just do a lot of thinking and obviously I need to speak to my Dad. I feel so sorry for him but at least we know now just exactly what lengths she will go to - even if we didn't know before.

    Will update soon

At least you both know where you are, and you will both have chance for a chat, and a hug, tomorrow.

Take solace in the fact that you know you have not upset your dad in any way, someone else has and you can support each other through this.

Enjoy seeing him tomorrow, I am sure there will be a few tears, but smile too, let him enjoy the children and let them enjoy seeing him.

Things will sort themselves out, but in the meantime sleep well x

oh Weller I have just caught up on the last few days (hassles getting online), I feel so much for what you have all been going through. I was so dismayed to read how hopeless you felt the situation to be but elated to see that you didn't do anything daft.

Does your dad have a mobile phone? Perhaps you could call/text him if you are unsure who might answer the landline. Just a thought.

I really do wish you all the best, I haven't posted a lot on your thread but you are an inspiration to others in how you have managed to get through these last few weeks (bet it seems like months).

Will keep my fingers crossed for good weather tomorrow so that Sam get's another chance to try his bike again.

oh weller :grouphug: you really can not trust your Mum or anything that she says. I think it will be good for you to see your Dad ( and the kids too) I hope you all manage to have a good talk and sort out something for the future. I bet your Mum will be VERY worried but she deserves it  .

Good luck and all the best - OOPS

My Mum told Andy every time he phoned - he made the calls in case my Mum answered (as I didn't want to speak to her) intending to pass the phone to me when Dad was on the other end - hmm, actually just read that back and think I'm smelling something fishy.................

Good, because that's what it was intended to do.

    Morning chick,

Just a quickie to say that I have a good feeling about today for you. Have a great time, enjoy yourself and let your dad relax away from your mum. It'll be like a little holiday in the land of sanity for him! x
