I'm not doing very well with the great March challenge, but it's still only 12th, so there's still hope yet"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

I decided this evening that I was going to try and be productive rather than sit on the computer.
So, I have:- Sorted the recycling and food waste
- Emptied the kitchen bin
- Hoovered and emptied the hoover
- Made dinner for tonight, lunch for tomorrow and prepped the slow cooker for tomorrow so I just have to switch it on
- Put some dishes away
- Tidied a few things
- Sorted some washing
- Had a sort through of a few books and put some out for boot sale.
My head is splitting though now, so I'm going to snuggle into bed with a book and hopefully get some sleep tonight.
Have a good evening everyone"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Bedding plants already! That's brave, I'd be worried about frosts still.
I know what you mean about the feeling of achievement - I spent a lot of the weekend sorting out the garden and made good progress - great to see all those weeds tidied up. I bought some summer-flowering bulbs but haven't planted them yet.
I see that some lettuce seeds are germinating in the greenhouse and the rocket in there has really taken off - tastes yummy - VERY mustardy.0 -

Yay for getting so much done. :T
Hope your cold goes away and you are feeling better tomorrow, Jwil.

Well done on getting so much done in the garden, I love rocketI'm going to try and grow tomatoes this year, the first time in a few years now. That's probably going to be the extent of my green fingered-ness for this year, but hopefully I'll be able to grow more as we get the garden organised.
I did lovefilm for cashback a few years ago. I'm wondering if I may be able to do it again, I've got a new name and address now
I spent some time last night browsing through netflix to see what I'd like to watch before my free trial ends. The reality is, very littleI was quite disappointed with the selection on offer.

Up bright and early this morning, and took the dog out first thing. I then went back to bed and studied for an hour or so :A"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

Hi all..hope you feel better jwil. Sounds like a nice start to the day.
if you want to try tomatoes which we love to do then make sure you give them lots of feed, stake early and for my money you can't beat Sungold..small orange cherry tomatoes which are simply the best imo!! Heavy cropper too. Must be easy to grow from seed as we do it!
P&F - agree re the frosts..but they can appear until May can't they and I simply can't wait that long for some colour! we are in the mild SW too which generally helps. Geraniums last on our window sills all year through unless its an exceptional frost. So any veggies will be snug and warm inside or in a coldframe for a fw weeks yet but the foxgloves, poppies and primulas are out now.
If they go they go..its a calculated risk! (and they were reduced!!)
Have a good day folks, off to the small thing thread now..dunno what I am gonna post tho!!MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Thanks Brizzle, I shall bear that in mind. When's the best time to plant them?
My internet banking is being ridiculously slow today, but I have eventually managed to pay another £11 towards target 1 :j
