We've been booting this morning, didn't really buy too much, just a couple of bits.
Today I will mostly be decluttering tissues I think. This cold has arrived in force and I'm feeling a bit rubbish. Day with a book methinks.
Hope everyone has a good day"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
You look after yourself jwil - keep warm, plenty of hot drinks and soft tissues and a good book
Maybe even a hot bath if it will help x

Glad you are pleased with your purchases DDFW :j I am consciously trying not to buy anything unless I really want it, as I've got too much stuff at the moment.
The stuff I picked up was mostly for DH so he was happy.
The ones we went to this morning were huge - one was just about as big as it gets in Summer."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hi jwil
Just catching up in your goings on..sorry you're getting a cold hun.
I am intrigued about the car boots as I often think they have been superseded by EBay etc but I guess if the weather forecast is good and you dont mind geting up early then they are just the thing for a browse.
Pottered in the garden today. Much needed tidying and also put some bedding plants in and some perennials ( if they survive the chickens that is!) .a real feeling of achievement.

Hi Brizzle,
DH got me into car booting. I like it in that you never know what you will find! We are always there early as DH is on the hunt for specific items that he collects but I like to just mooch about and see what turns up.
It generally means that we are up before 6am on a Sunday though
You sound like you've had a lovely day, so hope you enjoy your evening."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Not been up to huge amounts today. Listed a couple of items for DH, and just a bit of pottering.
Spent a nice couple of hours in the sun roomUntil I was bullied out of my chair by the dog, who kept huffing and puffing, giving me puppy dog eyes, and brushing past me to annoy me. The second I got up he dived into my seat and settled in for the afternoon *roll eyes*

We are lucky with the car boots around here, whenever we go away we try and find out whether there is one in the area, and they usually aren't as big as the ones here.
Good luck with the ebay reductions, I did the same at the weekend with some items. I'll do some more on the next flw for those which I won't go down to 99p on."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
