I did the lottery on Wed for the first time since Christmas, I was feeling so lucky for some reason !! But the inbox has been strangely quiet ever since !:(
Hope you get a win soon PGI do the lottery every week, I know it's a waste of money, but hey, I'm NEVER going to win it if I don't do it

I've finally sold another book on amazon :T Not a lot, but it all counts. I was having a panic as I couldn't find it. On the 5th go of looking through the same bookcase, it mysteriously appeared
I've just had a flick through my inventory on there, and books have so dropped in price  I guess the demand isn't there any more due to the kindle. I may have to review it and send some off to the boot sale, but it's a bit of a task as there are 399 books on there_pale_"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Isn't it weird when that happens with things turning up where you've already looked ?
Definitely review the books - split them down into 100's and make a note of where you are up to. I did this when i had books on greenmet and sold a few following revised pricesMorning everyoneHappy weekend :T

So a mixed start to the day :undecided My savings arrived unexpectedly and got paid out. And then a flurry of eb*y messages
posted about it on my thread - apparently the packaging got damaged on 1 item so the item arrived needing a clean - for a 99p item  I just replied and said fine return it for a refund
i read somewhere that a 99p sale = 69p made due to fees and then there's the time involved too. Another person bought something 1 week ago but hasn't paid yet and been on eb*y all week by the looks of things but was unable to contact me until today to say they didn't mean to buy it  And yet another message from the person who mis-quotes the message i have sent saying i have not replied to any of their messages
I have no money available to me whatsoever. I paid out my savings before these messages arrived and have the large houshold bill i'm about to pay now and a DD due out next week and nothing else. As jwil and ebayqueen knows i had to borrow money to buy a charity shop bargain the other day too so not to thrilled that there's possibly 2 out of 3 things wanting a refund and the third item where its likely i'll just say ok then don't buy it so will lose that incomeCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

I hope your OH wasn't too annoyed that you nicked his nail polish :rotfl:
I'm going to do the books one shelf at a time I think. It will be the easiest way of doing it rather than trying to hunt down individual books.

Stupid ebayers  Always get them to return, it gives you a few days breather as much as anything else.
Hope you get it sorted though."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Oh, DDFW, I don't know what to say - you are having a very tricky month.
With ebay, because of the hassle and effort involved I don't sell anything that would go for less than a fiver. But if you are trying to scrape together every single penny, I can see why you will sell for lower prices. I hope the sales come good for you.
Could you do a car boot this weekend? Gather together some stuff and make a few quid at a car boot - might tide you over a bit?
Have some dodgy hugs. :grouphug:0
