I'm not feeling too bad today thanks DDFW, which is a relief!

That's frustrating about the ebay sale  I hate it when that happens. It's cheeky too when they ask for a discount as it makes you think they are trying it on. Definitely hold out for return and then do the refund when you get it.

I did once give a partial refund, which was the equivalent of the postage, as I figured it would make me less out of pocket, but I was not 100% sure whether I was in the wrong, so I didn't mind so much. I don't do that if I think they are messing me about though.

Hey everyone, sorry I'm so rubbish at updating at the moment. I've still been feeling pretty rubbish and haven't got any energy at all.

Hopefully this will clear soon and I'll get some energy back. I haven't done an awful lot as a result, though we did do two bootsales this weekend and cleared a lot of stuff again :T

I've also had a flurry of sales today and 3 books have gone :T That's nice too as I haven't listed anything new recently.

Had my first MW apt today so that makes it a little more real now. Will be moreso when we have the first scan which will hopefully be in a few weeks. I've been referred to a consultant which was expected really due to my weight and medical history.

I've been saving my £2 coins as I think this is an easy way of saving without me noticing. (I tend to use cash in the main) and I'm trying to build up a little buffer to make things easier.

I'm still very worried about the money side of things, but am trying not to think about it too much. I will just do my best to raise as much as possible.

Got a builder in this week to have some work done on one of our rooms which will hopefully make a big difference when it's done. DH was really miffed about the amount of stuff he's got, so might be a bit more willing to clear some stuff in the future.

Hope everyone is well, I miss chatting to you all :) I'll have to try and get on with things a bit more.

    Hi hon

Don't you worry - just post when you feel up to it - i miss you and worry about you if you go quiet too long :) But if you are not well enough please do not worry x

Excellent news on the carbooty! :T

Hope the appointment was all ok with the MW hon :) i am a girl honest but i have no idea what happens at these things so just hope MW was nice and gave you all the details you need :)

Well Done on the sales too! :T

£2 savings i agree with - unless you spend £20 and get £18 in £2 coins  Yes - been there! It truly mounts up fast without noticing :)

I take it you mean mr jwil had to clear some stuff for the work to be done ? And realised the amount there was ? Sometimes its like that - i'm the same to be honest - like when i have nothing to wear and lift everything out of my wardrobe and get overwhelmed by the sheer volume of stuff :o Although i am getting better with this.

Had a mini breakthrough today on my spending habits :o So it was another dreadful day in work :( and i took myself out into the sun at lunch and something pretty in a shop caught my eye :o - to be fair i had been asked by someone else to check if this store had something in. Anyways i went to 3 different outlets for this shop  and 3 pretty things caught my eye. I thought well its such a good saving and i'll buy it now and when i get given some money for my birthday i'll produce this item and be 'ooh i got this with it' :T Always a better idea in my opinion as theres never any decent sales when its my birthday and its hard to get something decent for the money. I'd prefer to pay the money off a bill too but i have to show the people what i spent the money on. Grief! I can witter on :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Anyways the pretty items had all been mispriced :( so they weren't as cheap as i had thought - normally i'd justify the extra anyways but no - i turned and left the shop :T one small victory for me one giant difference to my finances :D

Oh and i don't achieve a 10th of the things i should - i am a lazy mare give half a chance :o - which is odd when you think i find it really hard to just sit and watch a film / read a book without getting up and getting on with summat - i blame my thyroid - but it may also be the reason i love the sloath character in ice age - he's amazing :D

peaceandfreedom - hope you are good hon ?

retiredandskint - hope everything is well with you :)

Hi to everyone else too - its been a long and difficult day so sorry if i've missed anyone xx

Well done on the not spending yesterday :T

If you are lazy with everything you do, then there is no hope for me whatsoever :o

I didn't know what to expect with the MW either, but it was mainly paperwork yesterday. My veins helpfully won't give up any blood so I've got to go back and see a nurse so she can try and beat me a little as well. That's going to be fun if I've got to do it a lot over the next few months!

I've had that with £2 coins before as well. I'll probably just try and put a few in and keep the rest in case I need them.

Have been wondering how you are doing. Did MW say to take anything like vits or anything to help with the tiredness. Perhaps its just worry and stress?

Did you ever send in your PPI claim? Its really worth it. I cannot believe what I got back on a credit card that I wasnt even sure if I had any.

    take care x

Hope you have a lovely holiday LAM.

I think a lot of it is worry and stress. The MW didn't suggest anything, but I am already taking vitamins. I'll maybe mention it next time if I don't get any better.

I did send in my PPI claim, I had a letter back saying it would take 8-10 weeks to investigate. I would love it if I got anything, but I'm not overly expecting to. I had it for a long time, but the card only had a low credit limit so not sure how much I actually paid.
