    Hi Jwil,
I've been reading through bits (not all)of your diary - 80 pages is a lot!! I just want to add my congratulations on your pregnancy.

I understand the worry - have 4 kids so 4 pregnancies - I just want to add that perhaps when you find yourself worrying, you could stop and take a breath and think about what is important to you about this pregnancy and having this baby, like the good feelings and the love and the adorable cuteness of your own little baby perfectly created by both you and your partner, and sit breathing gently and savouring those moments.
You, your health and that of your baby are the most important now and always and while we all have to pay our debts and bills, they are not the real reason we're here. The real reason is the love and the babies and the good things in life, we just have to balance the carp in along with them without letting it take over.
Good luck with it all and be gentle with yourself.

Jwil..hope you're bearing up. the tiredness can be soul destroying but really for most people it does get easier ( I promise) and they even bloom..;)

Agree re trying to get together a buffer. I am not kidding but it was a hell of a shock when we had ours..maybe we never fully recovered??! :p Also and I don't know your family/ friends situation but if thisis your first and everyone wants to shower you with gifts then politely ask for money instead. And say its to help with the mat leave. Don't forget you can get paid holiday as well and all allownaces eg. Car etc have to paid out whilst you are in ML.

You can kit you out at NCT sales, boots, Freecycle and the like ( our prefold nappies lasted for 4 kids as well as our 2!).. I would have happily posted my lot to you. You need slings rather than buggies.. You can really do this on the cheap.

Take care, hope weather picks up x

Hey Lam - hope you're ok ? I think i saw on the POAMYC challenge last month that you had made a good dent into your debt :T

Hi DDFW, yes I made the decision to sell some riding stuff that I have clung onto in the past as its so expensive to replace but my loan is currently just under £16k and if I can get it to £14k I can drop from 14.8% to 7.9% - I am not quite there yet but will be in the next couple of months.

Hope you are feeling ok today x

    Hey jwil,

Hope you are feeling better soon hon - please let me know if there is any way i can help you - i wanted to send you a little something too but don't know what you need or if mr jwil knows that there are all these virtual aunties out here :D

With the presentation i don't know who its for but maybe making sure you've some water and a chair if you need it and just explaining you're under the weather ? i am sure they'll appreciate the effort x

It is good peaceandfreedom is here to offer advice and support and share how she was whilst pregnant.

I was thinking of you earlier actually - i'm having an odd month of exhaustion, being completely ravenous all the time, odd tum and out of sorts - anywhos i thought 'ooh wouldn't it be good if all this feeling out of sorts could be explained by being pregnant like jwil and then i'll know i'll get better soon' Then i went :eek::eek: :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: - a different situation here though as we don't plan on having children and i also think i'm a fair bit older than you x Where on earth do these thoughts come from eh?

Take care jwil - positive vibes for you managing to eat and for your presentation xx

p&f how are things with you hon? xx

Thanks DDFW :) DH knows I chat away to people on here.

That would be funny if you were pg too :rotfl: We had no plans anytime soon and were using protection, so it can happen

Aw Jwil - sorry you are feeling so ill. I was lucky in my pregnancy in that I think only twice I felt ill and both times was visiting my mother for tea and I still claim it was her cooking ! :D

DDFW  - maybe 2 forum babies on the way ;):rotfl:

    Thanks fantastiyk, that's a lovely post :)

I'm hoping I'll start feeling maternal at some point, because right now I'm not. I guess maybe once I finally see the MW and things actually get started properly it might all become more real.

Thanks Brizzle, there's some good suggestions there.

That's great news if I'll still get my essential car user allowance as that will be a little extra. :T

We are definitely going to get most of our stuff second hand, and have no interest in huge flashy buggies or anything, we have decided that we will just get small basic ones and have a sling/carrier as well.

I'm definitely going to try reusables as well which should save loads.

Hey Jwil hope you are feeling much improved today

Thanks guys :) I'm not feeling too bad today thankfully.

Sadly (and rather humiliatingly) I didn't manage my presentation yesterday :o. We were outside (in the rain!) and it was running very late. There were no seats, and nothing to do, so just standing around waiting. I was fine right up until they arrived, and then all of a sudden, came over extremely dizzy and had to run off to find somewhere to sit down before I fainted. My poor colleague wonderfully jumped in at the last minute and did it for me without any preparation. :A

If they'd been on time or even just a few minutes earlier then there wouldn't have been a problem.
