You, your health and that of your baby are the most important now and always and while we all have to pay our debts and bills, they are not the real reason we're here. The real reason is the love and the babies and the good things in life, we just have to balance the carp in along with them without letting it take over.
Good luck with it all and be gentle with yourself.
How true and how beautifully put. Agree with every word. :T0 -
I'm hoping I'll start feeling maternal at some point, because right now I'm not. I guess maybe once I finally see the MW and things actually get started properly it might all become more real.
Your pregnancy was not planned so you are still getting used to the idea. You are also worrying about finances and so are finding it hard to just enjoy this new life you are creating. It's hard to explain but once you've got that baby in your arms, you will have all the maternal instinct you need. Suddenly the welfare of this tiny person means more to you than anything you've ever done up to that point.
I was never particularly ill with my pregnancies. Any nausea was in the evening and that was mild enough. I went off certain foods - in fact no longer been able to face coffee was my early-warning sign that I was preggers.Baked beans as well, bleeuurrgghhh!
So I'm not much help on the sickness front. As long as you are able to eat some of the time, you'll be fine and it's great that you are eating really healthily. :T0 -

Oh well, you know, up and down. I am trying so hard to stay positive but sometimes I feel I am carrying this whole household on my back. There is one more week until school breaks up and that means the house will be full of people from dawn to dusk. I feel some long walks coming on as I like a bit of solitude.
I also plan to get up early (your own plans have spurred me on to making some of my own) so I can enjoy some peace and quiet because the lazy lumps in this house rarely emerge before midday.
I have been getting on with some house decluttering and general tidying as this always makes me feel better. I also sometimes sit in the greenhouse with a book.
I have to stay confident that things will get better, it's the only way to keep going.0 -

((hugs)) p&f :grouphug: you know wher i am if you need me x
Putting my plans into place next week after doing my M&S this week
I know what you mean about carrying everything - it is alot to do - i *think* i'm currently balancing the sorting out of the messed up house job , the next bit on the urgent maintenance job, all housework, food shopping, ensuring all household bills are paid, washing, ironing, moving, keeping on top of the garden etc. etc. as well as working full-time, gearing up for studying on next ou course, spending time trying to work towards the career i want, starting a new course to help me get a new job, MSs, as well as of course trying to pay the debt down and plan for the future *phew* And i know that you have more to do than me x
Decluttering is good although i have been adding things with carboot stuffstill all stuff at fab bargain prices so that is good
It is good that you have a quiet place you can go and relax - either walks or greenhouseCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hey jwil, hope you are ok and had a nice weekend hon x
I have been so busy this last few days so not had time to post on here though i've been reading - obviously working all weekend does not help with keeping up with stuff - although i may have a slight sunburn after just flaking out on a deckchair after getting home<- similar to my colour :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hey everyone, sorry I'm not posting much at the moment. I haven't been feeling up to doing much at all.
Some ebay sales over the weekend, but do need to get listing.
Got to find £500 for some building work next week, and then my car needs to go in the garage the following week, so rather  about what that will cost.
I'm hoping to get my mojo back soon, and I'm still reading everyone's diaries even if I'm not posting
Hope everyone is well."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hey everyone, hope you are all well.
Not too much to report here at the moment. I've received £4 in boots vouchers for a product test, so that will be put aside for something towards the little one. I've finally got an appointment with the MW next week so might have my first scan soon. I guess it will all seem more real then.
I've had a few more sales on ebay and positive feedback for a couple of things I was a bit nervous about (went for a lot more than expected), so that was nice as well.
I can't really get anything listed on ebay at the moment, as we are away for a couple of days soon, so it won't be ideal to have stuff ending. I might put some on scheduled listing though so I can upload them when I am ready to put them on.
I've also requested some cashback so that will be a nice little extra bit. It's from a transaction in January, so a nice extra now."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Woohoo! lovely to hear from you jwil :j
Hope you are starting to feel a little better now xx
And well done on the bay of e sales :T i'm having a bit of a 'mare with some of my things now  Main 1 is an item i sold and the person took forever to pay for it asking if i'd post it elsewhere and whatnot - after your tip last time jwil i said it had to go the address as registered  Anyways finally paid and now been in contact to say the item is damaged (it wasn't when i sent it out) so i apologised and said to return it as what else could i do ? They've said that they are happy to keep it for a discount  If they do return it i'll lose out on refunding mine and their postage costs. It is not an item that can be damaged in the post unless the whole package was damaged and they did not mention any damage to the packaging either. If i do ask them to return it i can guarantee that it will arrive here damaged obviouslySo i am definitely going to be losing out on some money there
Sorry for the grump! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: just is very annoying and i am sure you guys understand when its not something anyone i know IRL would.
It has been a long and slow month and money has been rubbish for me - *i must try harder* Although admittedly it is fantastic having clothes to wear that actually fitCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000
