Jwil - you cant do any more than you are doing and you have a few months yet.

If it were me I would try and have a 'baby' pot and still crack on with the debt busting.

I had a claim with MBNA for PPI and they rejected it - I sent it to FOS and have been told they will now pay out :D Dont know how much it was a credit card and not even sure exactly how much I paid:D. Its slow process though - been going on since Jan :o

Hope the sickness passes soon for you x

That's great news about your claim LAM :T

    Hey all

Quick post from me before i head out in the pouring rain to work Bleurghness! I've not been around on here too much these last few days - couldn't resist going out in the sun on saturday and have then been just too tired to do anything much :o I need a bit of a wake-up call and to get my rear into gear - these debts aren't going to pay themselves and i worked out yesterday that i had only managed to pay an extra £10 off current target so far :( The thing is i really have run out of things to list to sell and anything i am deciding to sell now is all just stuff for pennies. I really am thinking about returning some of my new pants / jeans just so i can pay the money off debt but then i think about when i am going to wear those and i've no other pants / jeans to wear that actually fit me at the moment so then i think well its not too expensive for 3 new items i'll wear alot... Getting to the stage where i'll just be happy to clear target 6 this month never mind the spends for hols or the £100 significant gift or the money needed for the job that needs doing

jwil hon i popped on anyway to say i hope you are well and feeling better and managing to eat ok :) Your sig is looking amazing :D Missing your posts xx

Hope all is well with everyone else too :D xx

You are doing really well DDFW :)

When you can find time, sit down and work everything out. I think if I were you, I'd be inclined to save money now so you have some kind of top-up fund when you are on SMP. Also, you will be entitled to Child Benefit so apply for that as soon as you can after your baby is born. It's just over £20 a week so not a huge amount but it's something.

Have a look and see what else you might be entitled to.

And relax - it'll all work out. :)
Hi jwil I hope you're feeling ok. I've found this on the Internet hope it helps

Thanks Guys. I'm going to try and get some savings under my belt if I can. That link is helpful retired, thank you. I don't think I'm going to be entitled to anything other than child benefit, but I guess it's possible I might get the health in pregnancy one as I'm likely to be a high risk one.

Sorry for the absence everyone, I've been so anxious, and I've also been very ill so haven't been feeling up to much.

My ebay stuff seems to have died, there is little interest and no sales, so that isn't helpful either. I guess it will pick up again after the summer holidays.

I think I've said already that the first trimester of pregnancy is mostly day after day of really-can't-believe-I-can-be-this-tired. Throw in your sickness and it's not surprising you're not up to much. Are you managing to keep anything down?

I know it's easier said than done but try not to get anxious. It won't do you or your baby any good and let's face it, worrying never achieves anything. TRY to relax, take as much rest as you possibly can, defer any less-urgent jobs until the first 14 weeks or so are over (you should be feeling less sick and tired by then), and generally look after you + bump.

Thinking of you and sending dodgy hugs your way. :grouphug:

    Thanks peaceandfreedom :)

I'm having different days. A few days of keeping nothing down, followed by a few days of being able to eat and drink a little. When I am eating and drinking, it is in the main healthy though so it's done wonders for my diet. I haven't had any chocolate, crisps or coke since I found out :D

I feel exhausted and light headed a lot though, I never knew it would be like this. It's hard trying to hide it at work, and I'm so glad I've got a sedentary job at the moment. I've got a presentation to do tomorrow though, which I'm wondering whether I'll manage to stand for, and next week I'm meant to be out and about again with very early starts so that will be a struggle as well. I'm sure I'll manage though.

    Hey jwil,

Hope you are feeling better soon hon - please let me know if there is any way i can help you - i wanted to send you a little something too but don't know what you need or if mr jwil knows that there are all these virtual aunties out here :D

With the presentation i don't know who its for but maybe making sure you've some water and a chair if you need it and just explaining you're under the weather ? i am sure they'll appreciate the effort x

It is good peaceandfreedom is here to offer advice and support and share how she was whilst pregnant.

I was thinking of you earlier actually - i'm having an odd month of exhaustion, being completely ravenous all the time, odd tum and out of sorts - anywhos i thought 'ooh wouldn't it be good if all this feeling out of sorts could be explained by being pregnant like jwil and then i'll know i'll get better soon' Then i went :eek::eek: :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: - a different situation here though as we don't plan on having children and i also think i'm a fair bit older than you x Where on earth do these thoughts come from eh?

Take care jwil - positive vibes for you managing to eat and for your presentation xx

p&f how are things with you hon? xx

Aw Jwil - sorry you are feeling so ill. I was lucky in my pregnancy in that I think only twice I felt ill and both times was visiting my mother for tea and I still claim it was her cooking ! :D

DDFW  - maybe 2 forum babies on the way ;):rotfl:

Hey Lam - hope you're ok ? I think i saw on the POAMYC challenge last month that you had made a good dent into your debt :T

Payments are extremely slow for me this month - hoping to see some bits this weekend but there isn't too much interest.

The sun is actually out just now but its cold *brr*
