    Morning everyone,

welcome back DDFW - glad you had a good hols. Like you say no good fretting about money now spent I am sure you will get back on target soon.

peaceandfreedom - hope things are ok with you.

hiddenidenty - nice to 'see you again' and retiredandskint  at car repairs. I hate cars and computers - you never really know what is wrong and it always costs a lot to repair.

Jwil - sorry to hear you are still getting morning sickness. must be awful feeling sick all the time.

I too need to get back on MSE wagon properly. We decided a holiday in September would just be too much money that we dont have as even though OH mum offered to pay there is all the extras that come with and our house is about to have its foundations laid for the extension. I live in a building site most of the time and its about to get a whole lot worse :o So I am trying to concentrate now on bringing my loan down and have increased my POAMYC challenge figure to force me into being proactive. I have not done any ebaying, swagbucks, surveys or anything for a few weeks now and have overspent this last weekend on a pony club camp our stables had. Bought a fancy dress costume and tickets for the sat eve fun do.

anyway hogging your diary jwil - sorry - hope everyone has a good week. :D

Glad you had a good break DDFW :)

HI nice to see you again, you've been away from here for a while, hope everything's ok now.

Hog away LAM, it gets very boring when it's just me wittering on here. Shame about the holiday, but hopefully you'll be able to have a good one when you are DF and all the building work is done. Is there an end in sight for it?

    Hey everyone :)

I have told work now as there are too many appointments now for me to keep taking the odd bit of time off.

One good thing that happened though is that I found out I will get more maternity pay than I thought. So whilst it will still be a struggle, it's not quite as dire as I thought it would be. That is a huge relief!

I am seriously skint this month though due to the building work and the car repairs so I need to urgently raise some funds. The van is booked for MOT as well, so I need to pay my half of whatever that turns out to be.

I dont think the end will ever be in sight ! :o My OH is the builder and its his day job so our house gets done as and when. There is a small fund (his) that will cover a lot of stuff he cant do himself but he is TERRIBLE at starting something and then moving on to something else before finishing it. It drives me mad! He keeps referring to the plans and end product as though it will happen next week but I think its more to pacify me and I know that it aint going to happen. One of our previous houses had roof scaffolding on for nearly 3 years because the main part was done but bits needed finishing off. We eventually got a pro to come in and do it. :D

Oh that would be frustrating. They do say that's the case for builders and mechanics don't they. I can't blame them as the last thing I want to do when I'm out of work is anything work-related, but it would drive me mad too!

Got my scan this afternoon

Still feeling rubbish though and haven't been able to keep anything down again the last couple of days.

    Hope everyone is well.

It's free listing this weekend, so hopefully I'll get some stuff listed.

  • How exciting :D (the scan not ebay).

Hope it all goes well and you have some good days foodwise to balance out the last two days.

    Good luck with the scan.

We have no plans this weekend apart from farrier for horses and OH and friend has digger for excavating. So whilst he is out the house I want to list some stuff one bay.
