Morning all, bright and breezy here so I'm about to strip our bedding
all this term's coursework has been handed in by DD2!

DS1 was still writing his at 2am  Being house captain has been his priority with the house drama and I'm hoping grade wise not one he regrets:(

How is your DD1 at the moment?

    [QUOTE=Valli;49365625
Could someone PM me Seafarer's name/ID on facebook then I can look at the pictures please?

    [/QUOTE]

JoJo I'm glad DD1's visit went well and well done for not being cross with minion

    and me too

Woody is still limping but will put the paw to the floor for a short time. I think it is his 'thumb' which is injured. DS2 and I managed to get some cat anti-inflammatory into him this morning and I'll take him to evening surgery if need be when DS2 can come.

Going to spend HH doing my dailies and then for me today is THE BIG WRAP feel free to join in with me.

Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Seafarer's on the safe arrival of baby Benjamin.

Hugs to Wendywitch, I sympathise xx I hit rock bottom yesterday when I received a letter saying I'd been overpaid £200 Housing Benefit and they want it back - and here was me thinking that when my income went down my Housing benefit would go up!!!! I cried ...not that that solved anything :o but heyho.

On the flying front though things are definitely improving...I've found the hoover :o and a lot (tonnes) of clutter has been removed to the study or cupboard under the stairs (not ideal I know) but that means the kitchen, living room, hall stairs and landing, plus bathroom are just about acceptable...another couple of days and not only can I have someone over, but they can go up to the bathroom if they need too :T:j

Hugs, spoons, sticks and fluffy mules being left by the door. Pick up what you need. xx

Congratulations to the seafarer's - hugs to you both and enjoy xx
Roundtuit - sorry to hear about the repayment you have to make. We're finding for every bit of extra money we get twice as much seems to need to go out.

Minimal flying here. My cold has come back with avengence so i'm going to potter for a few days and do bits as and when. I will do some things of the list though....perhaps i'd better find myself a list!

    Hugs to all xx

    Congratulations!!

AJmoney - Not sure if you've sorted this already. I've heard that white vinegar is quite good at absorbing smells - you just need to leave a bowl with the vinegar in it in the room for a few days. The room will smell of vinegar afterwards but this will wear off after a couple of days.

Looking good in Valliland! DS's room cleaned and mysterious mess wiped off wall by bed. I know what it LOOKED like:eek:so assume DS cleared the rest up himself! 2 washloads blowing in the breeze and another load in in the hope it will line dry - or at least 'lighten' as it's stuff that can't be TD'd mostly.

Mum been. Tales of elderly forgetful friend shared including mislaid handbag - she left it at her son's salon - he knew it was there and tried to phone her but her phone was (a) in said bag and (b) switched off (as she wasn't expecting a call;)).

Just had a phone call from Mum. has she left nephew's (her grandson's) xmas gift here - yep - just given it her to take.HSwhistle.gif

    Anyway - must get on...

More Christmas Challenges for those who want them

    Thursday

It simple today my friends get all those cards which have to be posted written, addressed and stamped. All done already, in plenty of time for Yule:o

Don’t need to do cards? Are you organised for next year’s birthdays, especially ones which are easy to forget at the end of December or early January. Do you have a stock of cards for last minute postings? All organised; birthdays are all in my PDA, set to alert me 7 days beforehand, plus I get an email from Birthday Alarm; we have a goodly stock of cards; the next couple are already allocated for the recipients.:o

That's as much as will get done today; I have to feed us (lasagne cooking as I type), read and appropriately deal with 19 emails (last time I checked - there may be more by now) probably mostly surveys, somehow squeeze in HHYoga, and Brain Training if possible, and bung on some war paint, all by 14:30.

May not sound like a lot, but in my current state of health, it's quite a bit to be going on with.:o

I'll also take time out to send healing vibes for poor old Woody; sounds like he's really been in the wars.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

First roll of wrap all used so I'm having a lunch break, wrapping is hunger inducing work!

Lamewolf I am very impressed by how organised you too are. I know you will say you have to be because of your health, but lots won't be. You deserve a festive pat on the back.

I can't beleive how dusty our bedrooms are - so you lot beware there is one day of lists to come (Shame I haven't started Wed or Thurs yet :o)

Valli loving the stories of your Mum :rotfl:

I've done a list of what has not been delivered so I need to trail my emails/accounts to see what has been dispatched.
