Just dusting to be done now, and putting laundry away which I will do after the school run - and as per law of sod it's just started chucking it down...YAY
    So, there are these boys,
    They kinda stole my heart,
    They call me Mummy

    WW 37lb (2 STONE 9lbs! :j ) lost since July, 11tybillion to go...
  • I have finished all my jobs!! :T

I even went 'the extra mile' and cleaned the back garden, pulled up some weeds want and chopped back the tree :D THAT will earn me some HUGE brownie points off OH when he gets home :D(might save them all for Friday night for a takeaway!!)

I have insulated my outside tap, propped up the fence that blew down last week and hopefully windproofed my garden so if it does start again i won't worry about things flying around and smashing windows.

Back to work tomorrow (have been on holiday since Monday) and i really really do not want to go :( I must say i might petion to the OH and casually mention how clean and sparkly the house is since i have been off :D

Off to make toad in the hole for tea, i have a turnip i dont want to throw away can you mix turnip and potato and make smash? Would i add butter and milk to it too?

I seem to be having one of those days, got into a bit of hot water this morning, I didn't do anything really bad but my action meant that someone else did and I had to try and rectify it. I have felt rubbish ever since, does anyone else find it hard to let things wash over them? Anyway, think I might have a cuppa and a biscuit to perk myself up before I start flying, see if I feel better after.

I am just the same, have a hug x

Cats obviously have decided I am too busy to notice them being naughty. Woody is on DS3's bed, Dusty is asleep on DS3's jumper on the family room sofa, Pickle is asleep on the pure wool throw on the living room sofa. Are they allowed in any of these places?....No. Do they have countless baskets and blankets of their own?... Yes but today I am leaving them be.

I'm starving. Time to wash up from breakfast and have a snack - so not leading by example today.

DD is done and dusted - went reasonably well but she still managed to fight the anaesthetist after having her pre med, even though she'd been almost asleep on my knee beforehand! Thanks for all the calming vibes.

Need to do some tea now and do a HHC in the kitchen if anyon would like to join me.

Congratulations Seafarers, hope you and your husband enjoy your family time x BTW what was the middle name that took so long to decide on...just cos I am nosey!

Thanks for your hug Dusty, I feel a bit better after flying. Looking forward to DH getting home though, we used to work together and although some things have changed since he got a new job he will understand and be able to make me feel better :j

A bit of advice please. We keep getting a musty/dusty smell in our music room. I am cleaning it weekly and when it is not so windy we have the vents open on the double glazing but within hours or it being cleaned the room smells again. We have an old piano in there which contributes to the problem, the outside gets dusted and polished each week but I can't clean the inside which I am guessing is where the smell is coming from. I don't want anything overpowering in there but is there anything anyone can suggest that might at least neutralise the odours?

    Right...the list

    Wednesday

Sadly house break-ins increase at this time of year. They are most common late afternoon and early evening so please make sure you leave a light on a timer or just on so it looks like you are home. Make sure to always lock your door (even if just popping to a neighbour who may invite you in for a mince pie). Windy weather is also a great cover for the toe rags as if you hear a bang or breaking glass you put it down to the weather. Please look out if you hear such things.

So today check all your window locks, where are the keys, set timers if possible or if not which light with a low energy bulb can you leave on.

    Next job

Bake cakes for DH to take to work tomorrow and some for us to have with our lunches :D
