Well, the least said about the Scotland match the better!!
An atrocious game!!! Made DH's chocolate birthday cake during the match (very yummy warm!), as well as tidying the conservatory. I need to make room for some of my sewing/crafting stuff, as well as all the trays that will be sown with seeds in the next week (or so).
Watching the Wales-France match...much better, though not overly brilliant. Looks like Wales will win, so G-S to them :j Sorry folks, us Celts tend to stick together where rugby is concerned!!. Saying that, DS2 wants Wales to lose! Not sure if he wants England to win though!!
Still have a fair bit to do tidying-wise, but most things are now in boxes, so only a case of finding them homes outside DS1's room!!
Hope you are having a good weekend, have had a bit of a rest, so going back to it after the match finishes...in 15 seconds. Yup, Wales have won the match and Grand Slam well done lads :T:T:T Bad luck France...and England!!
Right, need to get back to the tidying!!
Now coming from me, this will sound a bit odd, but Keiss do you ever stop?
I'm exhausted just reading about it all. Thankfully I don't *do* sport , so I get to rest between those bits (as interesting as they are to other folk who enjoy it, so keep talkign about it, its like double dutch to me and it makes me smile as I don't understand any of it.)

Yay grand slam!!! Woohoo. Seen a brilliant photo on FB. It was the "welcome to Wales" sign but underneath it said "please drive quietly, the nation has a hangover!". Which is probably true. But e grand slam was a fitting tribute to the late great Merv the Swerve who passed away last week
Moving on from sport. Happy mothers day everyone. It doesn't matter if you have kids or not. Its a celebration of women everywhere I think. I was treated to breakfast in bed by my 4yo - very pale toast and lumps of butter and marmalade - but she did it herself with only supervision (and use of the toaster) from DH. Very proud of my big girl!

DD had a fabulous birthday on Friday, she was so happy and excited and loved her presents. I thought I was a bit tightwadded this year as there were fewer and they were less glamorous than previous years, but she was very happy with them, and we've watched one of her DVDs a gazillion times and are really enjoying the first of her box set of books (good old Ms Blyton!).
Her father sent her second-hand presents more suited to a 3 year old than a 7 year old!!! She declined politely to call or text him to say thank you for that carp....in his 'defence' he did put some money into the accompanying card...so I sent a text on her behalf later in the day. Quelle surprise he didn't bother to reply, t*sser!! I think his goose is well and surely cooked with DD now, thankfully she didn't look upset or sad at his pathetic offerings, but I do wonder sometimes how she feels on the inside.
She had a fab little party with her chums and my wondrous home made chocolate cake went down a storm, I was banished to another room whilst the girls took over the sitting roomIt was lovely!
She has pampered me today - OH and I were woken up rather early by her bounding into bed and presenting me with a lovely present she made at Rainbows, then grabbing a notepad and taking my breakfast order
At church she gave me a flower (all us ladies were given flowers by the children) and made me a bookmark!
Tomorrow the builder comes to start the work on the kitchen and bathroom, it's all go, go, go here!!0 -

YAY! :T BRILLIANT!
DP is happy to continue to Womble (in an 'apprentice' capacity - natch) them for you. They are destined for the bin otherwise
That was a lovely Mother's day card that your DD made. What a creative and thoughtful gal she is.
Have a great flight and meeting/training (it is today isn't it?). And I hope the rest of the gang have a great day too.
