I'm fine(ish), in the process of being made redundant which is horrible, but on the upside, it's making me rethink my life a bit and so I'm going to apply for a teacher training course for next September and am very excited lining up classroom observations and reading lots of things, which generally takes my mind off the fact I'm going to be brassic even before I get to pay for tuition fees and the like!

My new mantra?? "It'll be fine....." and God-willing, it will be!! :)

What have you been upto Pippi? Our tomatoes haven't done well at all. They are only 1cm across and starting to go brown now so I think are beyond saving.

Ordered some nice jars to put my home grown herbs in once they are dried (think that and the chillis are the only things that have done ok this year), and started organising my christmas spreadsheet. Did anyone see Doomsday Preppers on Nat Geo? These people take prepping to a new level.
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J

So sorry to hear about the redundancy but rethinks (even due to evil reasons, are good) - you'd be an excellent teacher - what a fantastic career change! I'm sure somehow or other you'll cope financially you're a strong one!

We're all cosy and loving the new place even if its still chaos. Ds leaves next week - so that will be strange. Onwards indeed - I even managed to look after my old chickens last week - now that was fun! Thanks for popping by.

Not seen that nope but will look out for it - must buy a tv licence of course as well.

We're fine I've been working all weekend again so I'm tired I have to say but happy enough. House is chaos.

Slow season all round for us all I think but hopefully next year will be better. Can you catch the tomatoes before the go brown and make green tomato chutney - or put them in a bowl with a banana to help them ripen????:A
