  • Hay there it's results day today, woken to an early call.

Dd got exactly what standard grades she wanted :) all '1''s all 8 of them - clever stripey girl

ds got a 'B', and a couple lower results for his advanced highers both 'D''s which he's appealing as he got 86% in his prelim for one of them.......so we're talking to the school for an appeal.....he's a bit upset but hopefully we will get it sorted for him...

Well done chaps and good wishes to all with results today.....x

  • Morning chores again.....

    Banks checked
    Hens fed
    Dogs walked
Cc's checked - until paid I can't make any payments so need watch these keenly.....
Must sort eggs for a chum
    Sort another load for dump
Do a bit sewing for work as weve three big events on this week
Check emails and sort an amazon package
Hm brekkie, (bran flakes, currently eating out the cupboards)
Lunch sorted for later and a hm tea to scoff.
Might go into town combine dump with cutting grass (paid) and a couple other chores.
Raid polytunnel for illicit veggies :-) and I must not look at reduced bread but after veg raid might see what I can find for home fruit/veg as we've not much in
Need sugar for elderflower cordial making, must do that and need more stripey washing powder but do have vouchers for a local shop, but its more pricey, so might hang on to them......

That's me today a day off but lots to do :-)

Pippi, have you ever come across one of these? Its about 2 inches long (not including the stinger) and makes a buss/hum sound when flying (high pitched and loud!). Seen these abroad but this is the first one I've seen in Scotland.
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J
  • Sorry uni can't help! Never seen one before....looks nasty.

definitely looks like you wouldn't want to meet it in a well light street Uni let alone a dark alley.
  • Too true lt, nice to see you.

    Hmm plan for the day

    Banks done
Cc looked and and ignored (ok but not brilliant)
    Sandwiches for lunch made
    Dogs walked
    Breakfast in progress :)

    Womble land today
Then home to clear out ds room (gulp)
Paperwork to sort out for dd EMA....
    Hc to hang up....

Apart from that I might go over spends on groceries for this month as I'm already way over I think......

Whatever you're upto have a great day!

  • Morning all, I'm still in bed (how lazy) :) up soon as poor haggis will have crossed paws. Peedie is still snoring on my bed, haggis is in prison (his lovely dog cage, which he loves) downstairs so we get some us time. :)

Today, list on the small things bit done, largely packing, decluttering and paperwork.
kids back a week today :) seven weeks have flown by! I hate it when they go but it only seems fair they see their dad and family.

Thinking of a new diary for focus with a move/smaller house and life changes that all that will bring, need to keep Focussed as the groceries among other things are creeping up again. Might scare myself later and go through the statements and see how much I actually spend compared with the £200 budgeted.

After that I may need another lie down.

Right puppies to walk then a cuppa :) then machine back on, more cleaning/packing.

It's blowing a hooley out there so best wrap up, how I've missed sideways rain......

Have a great day, whatever you're upto, :)
