Oh dear cheery Sounds like you need a new job in that case ;)

I am pottering about this morning then a friend is coming to do my eyebrows for me (decedent but very needed) then I have to drive into Cardiff to pick up something for church, come back pick DD up from school and take her straight for her swimming lesson before going to pick DH up.

    Phew busy afternoon

This week DH has been off and it's made me long for a car of my own again. I've been walking/busing too long now lol!

Happy Birthday to KK's wee one, hope she has had a lovely day :D

My OH is away all weekend and when I got home at lunchtime I spotted an envelope on the side. It is a Mothers Day card from Rodders with kibble inside! I really hope I am not expected to eat it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Pippi you sound better today, I hope you are. Loving the sound of the chooks and the spinning tops :T

Hope you enjoy looking at the chooks!!

Don't know Pippi's addi for Fb, but since I gave her the flock founder, I know what they'll look like, though not their plummage of-course!!

Just caught up with piccies of Thursday night's aurora up north..see here for some taken from Orkney...lovely!! Hope to see some when I'm up there next month, haven't seen a decent one for a few years...serves me right for living down south :o!

Busy weekend ahead: DH's birthday Saturday as well as Super Saturday (6-nations), so lots of rugby to be watched. :)
Having a takeaway from the local Vietnamese for tea...yumm!!!

Also clearing out of DS1's bedroom as he is coming home on Sunday from Uni for his Easter break. So all my craft stuff has to be relocated...that will be fun!! Working in the conservatory for the next month then :D:D! Then I will be heading north for a fortnight, it's all go!!

Up far too late again, need to get to bed, night, night.

Have a lovely weekend everyone xx

  • Hi Pippi and all the gang :hello:
Everything sounds v. industrious on the isle of flowers - what is the event?

Keiss - we'll be watching the match too today - it could prove to be the match of the day - both teams never give up until the final whistle. We'll be watching later on too, but think the irish will have the edge :D

Thanks to everyone who very kindly gave input into the types of sewing machine that you own a couple of weeks ago. I ended up having to bite the bullet and get a new one as my old one just kept going wrong - everything kept getting loused up, and the seam ripper became my constant companion :rotfl:Through researching all the different machines, I really focused in on what I needed, and I think got a great deal from (ironically) my local sewing machine shop. Beat the internet hands down. ;)

LT, Keiss is right - we all love ya hon!

Anyway, have a great weekend all.

Well, the least said about the Scotland match the better!! :o An atrocious game!!! Made DH's chocolate birthday cake during the match (very yummy warm!), as well as tidying the conservatory. I need to make room for some of my sewing/crafting stuff, as well as all the trays that will be sown with seeds in the next week (or so).

Watching the Wales-France match...much better, though not overly brilliant. Looks like Wales will win, so G-S to them :j Sorry folks, us Celts tend to stick together where rugby is concerned!! :D. Saying that, DS2 wants Wales to lose! Not sure if he wants England to win though!!

Still have a fair bit to do tidying-wise, but most things are now in boxes, so only a case of finding them homes outside DS1's room!!

Hope you are having a good weekend, have had a bit of a rest, so going back to it after the match finishes...in 15 seconds. Yup, Wales have won the match and Grand Slam well done lads :T:T:T Bad luck France...and England!! ;)

Right, need to get back to the tidying!!
