oh dear, sorry to hear OH withheld his favours lol i'm sure you'll appreciate his company more when you do see him, but you probably needed the nap so it was the best way lol

are you completely unpacked now? please don't say yes as that would make me feel inferior as i think it's likely to take us months to unpack when we eventually move.

Oh heck no, there's a huge garage nearly full still of stuff to unpack! Don't worry, it'll take me months if not years to go through as I'm such a lazy mare, lol.

    Yup, I had been hoping for a nap a deux ..... ;)

Oh KK and KC, hope you feel better soon xx.

In the meantime, take care of yourselves...and remember to take things easy. I know it is hard to do somethimes and can be so frustrating, but your body will thank you in the long run! :)

Are you able to read or craft, while you are restricted in your movements? I did a lot of knitting when I was ill/recovering from ops, I couldn't concentrate on reading, but was able to knit, so lots of pressies for friends and family got made :D I also caught up with various DVDs/CDs that had been waiting to be watched/listened to.

Finished my paid work for the day now :j. Need to walk the dog soon, then get back to my sewing..can't wait!! My evening class has been cancelled (tutor is ill), so I will get more creative stuff done tonight too. Trying to get as much done this week before I have to pack up and move everything out of my "craft room"...DS1 is home on Sunday, and needs his room back!!

Hope everyone is havong a good day x

Grrr, my s*dding exOH still hasn't paid this month's maintenance, or bothered to acknowledge that we have moved (I sent him a text). Wonder if he do either of the following (a) pay up asap or (b) remember its his daughter's birthday on Friday?!? Last year he sent her a completely sh1tty present, late, and she was so grown up about her disappointment.....

KK, sorry to hear exOH is being a pain again ... he really seems awful :( and I hope you're feeling better today in yourself - being on crutches is no small thing, that in itself must be tiring.

Keiss, thank you for your good wishes - I'm much better than I was, truly - as to doing craft work when I was in early recovery, I'd actually planned it - but I had no idea how much we move our shoulder for things like sewing buttons etc - even typing moves the shoulder a fraction, and it was impossible. Now, I'm trying to catch up on things - the kitchen is really vile after a month of microwave and quick meals - and what energy I have for the house and garden, I've been using it for cleaning slate chips that are stashed in boxes round the patio - that'll clear the boxes, and extend the patio, as they're going into a border between the patio and the house. Win win.
