Hope you're all great - I'm off to find a dry pair of trousers, a clean cumfy sofa and a plonk down.

    :)

I promise to return and catch up - you lot are ace keeping this little part of my life nice and cosy.

Utterly vile here - but just watched a male hen harrier on my drive home - gorgeous!

Hello chaps - sorry - dd'ness averted - she's OK, bit of a tummy bug I think but brighter already - phew!

KC sounds like you're busy in the garden!

Wik yes please me dear - I'm sure your mum would approve too of you decluttering and being so kind as to offer it to our charity xxx

Piq - hello my dear thank you for popping over the fence :) always a joy to see you - is today a captain day?

Keiss - glad you got the birch sorted out - hard when something outgrows its space. And yay for trips north booked.

Starnac the make your own hat this is utterly inspired - I'm cutting that out and pasting it into the 'can do this' book! Thank you - I've seen cushions and other things made from jumpers but not hats - how terribly clever.

KK - glad you're out and being looked after - if you can't remember what the Dr said ask them to look on your notes when you're back in for checkign on maybe. Im so glad you're being spoiled xxxx

LT - hope you get everything sorted!

DWWB - all this wool talk has me really inspired - I never knew there were so many types!

Gilligan hope you're good - I'm very grateful you were about for the advice re the cooking of brisket - not a joint I've cooked (infact I'm glad you were all about) I've done meat in my slow cooker works like a charm. Hope the new cars behaving itself! Must pop over and find out.

Uni - leg warmers oh that takes me back to wham and kajagoogoo days! How are the puppies?

A big wave to cheery and hopefully you're all fine and well this am? Lucielle - hope your lot are great too!

  • OK life in the slow lane - DD was a bit crook but appears to be OK today

Ds needs to pick which course he's going on to get a place booked on it and into halls asap. (He's choosing between two unconditonals from the same place)

Mr F is a space cadet but back from Florida. Meeting him later for a secret 28hr rendezvous in our capital city to see a guitarist he loves after a lovely supper with a japanese twist - fly down later and back on the boat the next day - I'll be away for 28hrs entirely. (Booked ages ago via quidco so its not very expensive to go down)

From the beginning of April I have another whole days wombling to be getting on with (we got one extra day work for me in our funding!) and our womble HQ will be open more often.

Tunnel is hopefully getting covered soon - brother and perhaps my mother (!) are up here at the end of the month for a break. Still recovering from that news.

Aside that all fine with the world - hens laying 7 a day - peedie snoring away at my feet at the moment.

Weather is utterly vile - I hope it improves soon.

Hope you're all great - kettles back on............might make a batch of the easiest brownies in the universe too whilst I'm at it.

    Boo to DD being poorly

Yay to a whole other day wombling and secret rendezvous!

Hope mr F had a nice holiday....ahem....work time in Florida. The furthest I've been with work is Pwllheli!! And that was in a caravan

I'm currently sat here in my pj's with a cuppa while DH unblocks the kitchen sink (oh the glamour) DD is sorting out some hair pulling between her barbies (?) and the baby has gone back to sleep in my bed. Not a bad morning so far. Sun is out but I suspect it's cold so will wrap up for church (if only to wear it during the service brrr)

Hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday morning.

Morning! Pippi, how exotic, to fly to your capital city for a 28 hour break! I bet you have a lovely time. But, erm, I have to disabuse you of one notion - I'm not busy in the garden - I have to cut down the tree. That doesn't mean I'm doing it any time within the next year :o:rotfl: I've had to cut it down since I moved in 18 months ago :D

I'm glad DD seems okay again, she must have fought it off - and wow to DS getting two unconditional offers from the same place, thats tres impressive!

Starnac - hiya! How's your wee one?

  • KC thank you re the ds - he's very luck - green technology or environmental management - interesting stuff! (and no, I didn't push him that way, he's got there all by himself)

    clever chap

Laughing at your 'intention to cut down' the tree - very noble - you have to think these things out.

DD has the constitution of an ox.

    :)

I'm trying to find scales (for work) for weighing 50g-50kg - think I've got a pair.

Flying down for a concert is indeed very outrageous. I'm so looking forward to some japanese food in a favourite restaurant in the big city. yum yum. I can't say I'm too fussed about the concert but its one of Mr F's favourites so I'm sure he must be good if the rock star in my life thinks this guys good - he must be really good!

Starnac - nice sounding morning at yours xxxx Have a great day and enjoy the church. Laughing at DD and her barbie games. I think the trip overseas has knocked it out of Mr F - but as you say - hard trip for work eh, although I'm not sure I fancy 5 days in USA with meeting starting at 7am everyday and working til 9pm.

Extra womble day will indeed be fab - I'm changing my hours around to work a 4 day week.

Yay, well done on the extra day Pippi, that's fabulous news :) Glad DD is getting better and wow you must be so proud of DS's achievements, to have 2 unconditional offers is molto bene :)

As I should have anticipated, I did a bit too much walking yesterday as I was feeling fantastic, so am a wee bit sore on the leg and chilling out more today. My bro is still here and he's taken DD out exploring, they did it yesterday afternoon too, were out for about 2 1/2 hours and she came back knackered! Wish I could do that :( but at least she has an uncle who adores her and can do the more physical stuff with her, so its not all bad is it?!?

A friend is hopefully popping over this afternoon so I think I shall see if she wants to stay and have dinner with us, not sure what yet, maybe roasted beetroot and carrots and spuds and err.......our usual fallback of veggie sausages? Nomnomnom.

Hope the sun comes back this afternoon like it did yesterday, it was glorious!

Morning! KK, the sun here yesterday afternoon was fantastic, it felt like summer, so hopefully it was the same for you, being as we're next door geographically :)

Pippi, hope the trip went well, I bet it did - but I also hope the sun is shining on you too :)
