It was gorgeous wasn't it, and with it being very foggy now, I'm wearing a summer dress and sandals in eager anticipation of it burning off by lunchtime at the latest!

although I'm not sure I fancy 5 days in USA with meeting starting at 7am everyday and working til 9pm.

Doesn't sound quite so nice when you put it like that ;)

DD has a wonderful imagination. Not sure where she gets it from. She has an imaginary friend (who has his own imaginary friend), an imaginary horse who she rides to school most days and an imaginary dog to walk when she's not riding her horse!!

Very misty here to morning. Luckily I've got the car today as DD has dance class tonight so we've dropped DH off at work and are about to leave for school. We'll pick DH back up after dance class. Oh how I miss having my own car *sigh*

Hope everyone has a good day.

She still (at very nearly 7) likes being a puppy too and we have a special song we sing when she's being the pup! :) We do have a good time, we're both very daft!

Apart from occasionally calling her uncle by her grandad's nickname, DD had a fabulous time this weekend, and he likes being an uncle as he can hand her back when his patience is stretched too thin! He's 35 and told me yesterday that he doesn't think he'd like children as he's too selfish (I agreed silently ;) )

My sister is the same. She idolises both my kids but she is so glad when its time for her to go home!

    How lovely the stories are!

I'm one of the ones who never managed to have kids, sadly - I was so busy coping with the insides of my own head, it was never right ... so its been lovely over the years to be with my sister's kids.

I'm good thanks Starnac - its just very, very slow to heal the bones from the op, but I'm getting there - can now do a physio exercise I couldn't for 3 weeks, and one weird sign of progress is that the non-operated arthritis hurt more than the operated-upon arthritis yesterday - its progress of a sort!

The joys of arthritis, keep smiling and resting KC xx I got told off by a variety of people yesterday including a nurse at the surgery when I had my dressing changed, for doing too much, and risking whatever (yawn) so am back on 2 crutches and lazing about as much as possible. Feeling a bit grumpy tbh

oh heck KK hope the grumpiness isn't anything serious, if you want rid of it it would fit right in in my office at the moment so it could come and joint some friends.
