Ooh leeks. Yum. Leek and potato soup anyone? I'll whip us up a batch while someone gets the kettle on

I think it may be spring here too pippi. I have had washing out every day this week (why do I actively look for washing when it's sunny?)

Have you had a good day?

:rotfl:I'm the same as you starnac, I think it is a waste of a good day if I don't have washing out drying!! :rotfl:

Spring is definitely here, though the breeze today has been a bit chilly. All relative I know Pippi...16 degrees here and I feel a bit cold. Could have something to do with being in an over-hot college invigilating all day. Took my lunch and knitting out to a local park to get some fresh air at lunchtime, lovely!!!

I will have a look at what spare cartridges are lying about. There won't be many as I had a clearout a few months ago and took all of the old machine cartridges to our local C@rtr!dge wor!d. They were able to recyle those that they didn't stock, and the rest get re-filled and re-used, being sold at a much cheaper rate than the new branded ones. Our local one also pops in a chocolate square with the new cartridges...recycling and chocolate, what more can you ask for!! ;);)

Off to do a bit more sewing before getting tea on. DH is taking DS1 back to Uni
tonight (only came home on Sunday, but has some workshops and tutor meetings, and has to go back again), so an early tea is called for.

Have a great evening, another lovely day is forecast
for tomorrow, hopefully everywhere! I may even get some weeding done at the weekend, as well as some seeds sown...getting late for chillies now :o

    It is lovely here.

Was a bad mummy this morning though DD was supposed to wear track suit and trainers to school this morning cos they were doing the sports relief mile. I sent her in her uniform cos she only goes in the morning and they are walking the mile this afternoon. Anyway turns out the morning children are going to e park so they don't feel left out! Luckily I had the car this morning so I zoomed home and zoomed back up the school with her leggings and trainers. Phew!

I was a bad mummy too......DD is probably the only child who will be changing into her PE kit at school (and I didn't give her the £1 either :( ). We totally forgot and it wasn't until after I dropped her at my friend's house to walk up that I saw other children, all wearing trackie bottoms etc. Oops! I might get a mummy telling off for that...

Have fun with you mummy KC, I'll keep the sun warm down here for your return :)

Back to mainland here - gardened for 2 hours doing over a rose garden in a differnet garden

Home after pickign up a puppy crate

Hmm, I'm looking at a new puppy tomorrow t time with peedie and he might come home with us (the new pup)

Four new hens and a potential puppy - I shouldn't be allowed to leave the house.
