Glad you are making the most of the lovely weather Pippi, though you need to remember to take a break sometime!!

Not done as much gardening as I had wanted over the weekend, but I did get some sewing done instead...so much to do, I have to prioritise!! Hope to get a couple of hours in the garden today sometime.

My last evening class tonight, it'll be lovely to drive up there without the headlights on. Luckily I am driving east and north, so won't have the sun in my eyes, it'll be dark when I come home.

Still trying to work out when I will fit everything in today, so need to get off t'internet soon and get back to website work and then set up a new database (paid work :j). Invigilating tomorrow afternoon/evening: 3:30 to 9pm!! Just wish I was allowed to knit while I invigilate!!! :o

Have a great day everyone xxx

Hello chaps, I had my stitches taken out of my ankle yesterday, yippee! and managed a nice stroll down to the town centre from the hospital to get the bus home for the first time! £3.85 single to get back to nearly outside my house, I did initially think blimey that's expensive, but actually it's probably cheaper than the petrol to drive the journey, so I may stop being such a princess and start using public transport more, especially as I saw petrol advertised at £1.44 a litre yesterday! I remember when it hit £1/litre thinking that I'd not be able to afford to keep driving and now look at it.....eek!

I couldn't get a straight answer out of the registrar yesterday as to the state of my leg which initially was a bit depressing as he just looks gloomy, maybe that's his natural state of being?!?!

Anyway, having gazed in awe this morning at how tiny the new scars on my ankle are, I realised that my bad ankle now has more shape to it, i.e. it looks like an ankle rather than a puffball - first time in 13 years, yay, so I'm going to take it all as very good news, and that, digging the garden aside, once it all stops being sore, it means that they've taken out a lot of rubbish so I'm going to be fighting fit and strong and hopefully able to lead a more 'normal' life. Yay!

Now to get over the cold and yard dog cough.....and keep positive :)

Blooming solicitors, I'd happily give mine to the silly solicitors who handled my sale and purchase! Have you got your date finalised yet for the move now LT?

My petrol was £300 last month , if only I had a bus option to work!

Yay for cute puppies! I despair of ever getting one of my own but my pirate cat and Vesuvius the hamster keep me busy!

Great news on your ankle, it does sound greatly improved :T

I have now had a cold/cough for 4 weeks - Decide amongst you which solicitor is the worst and I will gladly post it to them :rotfl:

Me too, I need a cuppa, but first I'll have to trek to the village shop which doesn't open until nine.

I haven't caught up with you properly, I will make time just for you!

Congratulations KK on your glamorous ankle! I'm glad the stitches are out, hopefully, that tight feeling that only stitches produce has gone now.

    Love to the pups
