New York?! Gosh!! Furthest we ever went was to France to look at the machines making the channel tunnel - and that was excitement enough!

Uni Can I see puppies too please?
Out of stardrops pippi?? What will you do? Good job uni got you some. Phew!
New york?? Wow. We went to Europe but never further. Good job you've got a year to fundraise!
Just had our haircut. Mine is quite short but DD looks fab. They straightened her naturally curly hair and she looks so grown up I want to cry. I've tried getting her to pose for a nice picture but she keeps pulling faces. Oh well. Keep tryingGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Blimey, and I inwardly groaned when DD told me that her next school trip will be to the local acquarium, I've got so much to look forward to/dread, haven't I!!....
I drove my car today, woohoo! and I don't want to chop my leg off, but am rather tired. Got to drive again tomorrow to take the jalopy for a service and will try not to spend any more money!
I've also given my cold/cough to OH, so he's spent the day in his bed
Darn it, just as I'm starting to feel slightly more human! Hopefully we will get to see each other before his son comes down for Easter sometime next week, not least because DD is going to be away!! 0 -

Morning all
Thank gawd for that, I was really worried!
Uni - Please may I have the link to see the puppies?
Pippi - Good that Haggis is going to the paper when he gets caught short. Coming from a byre he will probably take a wee while to train. I would be taking him out as soon as I got home - without any fuss until he has performed. And out after a snooze and anything to eat. Ig=f he doesn't do anything in 5 minutes take him back in for 15 minutes and then bad out again.
NEW YORK??? Furthest I got on a school trip was Scarborough :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Is this with her Cello?:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
If you go to Pepper's cards and hampers on fb then onto my page you'll see them.

Mornign all
You guys are nice and chatty!
Bit of a funny day today
DD had a concert last night and did a solo and needed to come home as in floods - she thought it was terrible and no one noticed tbh.
Poor lamb - one girly dvd, one sofa snuggle and a huge bowl of ice cream later and she's OK today.
Poor thing
Catch up with you all in a bit - its all haircuts, cakes and pretty frocks on here (as well as a bit of car maintenance).

Poor DD I hope you told her that we are always our own worst critic. She may have thought it was terrible but I bet it wasn't. Lots of tlc and ego massaging today I think.
Ooh uni a new colour. Wow do you like it? Or are you still getting used to it? Thanks for the link I will check them out although maybe I shouldn't as both DD and I would love a puppy but DH says no

Poor DD!
Glad she's feeling a little better. As you know, I have a musician here in the house, and it doesn't matter how many people tell him what he did was fabulous, rave about it, he will always come home and list all the things he did wrong... We are indeed our own worst critics! But in some ways that's good - she's conscientious, and will always be striving to be better (just needs to learn to be a little more robust when she feels it's not gone as well as planned...) 0 -
Aw poor DD, rubbish feeling you haven't done as well as you could. Hard sometimes to realise that most people in the audience are just happy to hear a lovely tune being played well - they either don't know or don't care if it's not absolutely perfect. I can remember doing the same at school concerts

And even the top professionals fluff things sometimes - music is a living breathing beast after all. Bless her xxDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0
