Google images reveal same leaves but not sure if the heads are meant to droop, do you know? Thanks though, could very well be it!
Hellebores are monkeys. Exquisite flowers which turn their noses to the ground so you have to lie upside down to see them.
Gorgeous though.
DDFW, good question. Growing up we travelled as my dad in army.
On return to Scotland I found living in a city hard (Dundee). Which I found hard to adjust to"
Islands, hmmm I answered an ad in a national paper for seasonal work, paid well, guess cos of the isolation. Moved to the hebridies for the summer, never went back, loved it.
Met farmer on island, married him, life changed out of all recognition.
After kids and our split up, poverty stricken, remote places offer low income houses, for more space, eg you get more for your money in remote places. You can have a better standard of living in lots of ways, on limited budget.
Money poor, life rich.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

 No please don't say that. DD has already decided what car she wants when she's 15!! (everything grown up at the minute is 15. I suppose it is a very long way away to a 4yo!) :rotfl:
I really don't know how you mums with older children cope with your babies being so grown up. Took a picture today of DD dressed in her welsh costume ready for school (it's St David's Day) and she has grown so much since last year it's scaryGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

We found that too just moving from big city up north (manchester) to the valleys here in south wales. We would never have survived on such a limited budget as we had the last 2 years. Plus we have a better standard of life for the little ones. and that comes from city boy DH!Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

Hey pippi thanks for the reply - when we got this place where i live now OH refused to move outside this very specific location - now i think he'd warm to the idea of moving somewhere a bit more remote- i did feel we could have got more for our money space-wise if we'd moved away. Oh well! it all happens for a reason and there are some lovely people here and 'some' open space - i'd just prefer there to be more
I do like the sound of being life rich though - beautifully put

Hey starnac - thanks for the input its all appreciatedCrikey knows why i'm thinking of a dream that won't happen for a few years yet but my ideal location would be with the countryside on my doorstep and some water nearby - be it the sea, a lake, a stream etc. *wistful sigh* :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Ok then a bit about where i live as i feel bad asking you all and not sharingIts classed as semi-rural here - we are near some fields and farms which is lovely and people often ramble through the village - i guess i want to be out in the open space more

congratulations Starnac on DS's abilities, he'll be sleeping through, having dry nights, going to school and getting married before you know it lol
i'm right funny about eggs as well, i like boiled ones but if you mix the egg and the yolk together for something like scrambled then i can't touch it, i've only just started eating quiche and omeletes and will only eat them if there's copious cheese on them.0 -
I've just discovered how to do the NICEST and EASIEST poached eggs - eating them all the time now - could do with a few chickens myself!0

please can you share your trick Cheery? i'd love to be able to eat poached eggs but can never get them right.0
