I like boats - use to love the drive into Edinburgh over the bridge and looking at the other bridge and the boatsMorning (just) off up the west coast at the end of the week I'll give you a wave.

:rotfl:Good luck with the move KK...can't believe it's here already!!! Hope it all goes well x
Pippi - how about quiches to use up the eggs...they freeze well too. We make them when we have a few extra eggs to hand...also bread and butter pudding, which uses up numerous bread heels as well. Or french toast (eggy bread) if you are not into the sweet stuff.
People recovering here at last! I managed to avoid throwing up, but felt pretty yuk yesterday. Feeling a bit better today thank goodness, though still wiped out and achey.

Saying that, I did make your 15 minute scones this morning Pippi, though they needed an extra minute in my oven. Made lots (well, 14) of small ones, so we can have just a little treat to cheer us up every once in a while. Lovely with homemade jam mmmm! Mustn't eat too many though...tummy still delicate. Also DH has gone to work, so must have some left for him when he gets home!!
Been trawling various blogs this morning, instigated by yours Pippi...feeling decidedly homesick for the North!! Wandered off to the west coast and found the barefoot crofter, then ended up nestled under rainbows...a lovely morning.
Need to get outside for a bit and breathe some fresh air...the washing is done and needs to be hung out...not sure how dry it will get today, dull and overcast, with no wind to speak of. Oh well at least the clothes will get a fresh airing....and so will I!! No weeding...too much bending, not good in my state.
Might have a go at some sewing or knitting later...a nice lazy day.
Have a great day everyone xx
I hope you're OK now - one thing though no one here likes quiche, dunno why we like pie, we like omlette - but not quiche, nowt as funny as folk - but good plans though! I do hope you're recovering!

:T he's very cute and I'm sorry you had a rotten day xx
I agree pippi - we all have so much going on in the way of families / work / bills - some of these things are nice but they have their own pressures too and sometimes it is hard to appreciate something lovely right in front of us when we are rushing around and our mind is on other things.
+ :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: not seeing omelette for the eggs :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
KK hope all goes well today
Indeed - too easy to not see the small stuff or stop and smell the flowers or take a picture of hte view:A

Need to juggle a bit of banking.
Posted off parcels for amazon for womble landbig tick, vg, in this months figures woo hoo
Taught landscaping again and now have to write up my evidence for my SVQ qualification thingmy and give them an invoice
Been asked by my old phd department (next door to agri/hort office) if I'm interested in some plant research consultancy later this year (of course)
Not spent any money apart from petrol
That will do for tonight I think. Course 7pm-9.30pm - but after it I'm sure I'll know more.

Hmm - eggs through the post? in a bottle ready whisked perchance? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Thanks for your kind words pippi - just had a very frustrating day dealing with money places.
I read yesterday about the different places you said you'd lived pippi - where you live now is beautiful(not seen any pics of the other places) and i was interested in what prompted you to move or choose where you live?
