:rotfl: :rotfl: at you and all those egg!! Oh dear!
I'd take a few off your hands but not sure they'd survive the post
Good luck in the move today KK! And welcome dottygirlLovely to have another new face poking around in Pippi's kitchen
LOVE your womble outfit with rainbow fingernails Pippi! :T :T :T :T (although for a second there I did actually think of you talking to real rainbows, you know, in the sky...)0 -
Gally girl I'm sorry - phew - of course in the car!
Cheery as you know me, talking to rainbows would indeed be something you'd think I'd do to be fair.
However, rainbows are peedie (small, little, cute) soon to be in a couple of years brownies.
I nearly had a heart attack there - Mr F has cunningly got a photo of me in said garb and is threatening fb with it.
EEEK
Eggs in the post - whilst I've thought about it long and hard - hmmm - I think not - although real live baby chook eggs do get posted - I wonder how they do it.
Pesky chooks, imagine being so kind as to up the laying! I'm very grateful of course.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

If only there were a way to get them here fresh and whole, I'd buy my eggs from you. It'd be lovely to have the name of the chook who laid them written on each egg....now I'm getting whimsical, think I'd better have another cup of tea!

Oh Piq how lovely.
I did have a logistal thought there, how would I know who'd laid them.
Then of course I thought, I'd give them all their own stamp.
I've previously asked them to lay different coloured eggs to let me know who's been clever. That got taken to committee and was unanimously rejected.
Can't think why.
I've been musing about Dotty's comments about our views and how different they all are........yesterday I stopped and looked at the sky on my 'commute'. Beautiful it was too.
Wonder what your views are like - don't expect them to be posted on here - but interested to hear about them.
I can see the sea and the hills and the fields. And, chicken on my window sill.
Don't they ever behave.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:#
Time to crack on I think!

you're very lucky for your commute Pippi, mine is spent driving along dual carriage ways, the 'highlight' is going over a huge bridge sometimes when there's traffic (which is quite often) you can see the boats on the river.0

Morning (just) off up the west coast at the end of the week I'll give you a wave.

Good luck with the move KK...can't believe it's here already!!! Hope it all goes well x
Pippi - how about quiches to use up the eggs...they freeze well too. We make them when we have a few extra eggs to hand...also bread and butter pudding, which uses up numerous bread heels as well. Or french toast (eggy bread) if you are not into the sweet stuff.
People recovering here at last! I managed to avoid throwing up, but felt pretty yuk yesterday. Feeling a bit better today thank goodness, though still wiped out and achey.
I didn't make it to my class last night, nor the choir this morning, and have said I couldn't invigilate this afternoon...it would all have been just too much. I am listening to my body (for a change!) and taking things easy today.
Saying that, I did make your 15 minute scones this morning Pippi, though they needed an extra minute in my oven. Made lots (well, 14) of small ones, so we can have just a little treat to cheer us up every once in a while. Lovely with homemade jam mmmm! Mustn't eat too many though...tummy still delicate. Also DH has gone to work, so must have some left for him when he gets home!!
Been trawling various blogs this morning, instigated by yours Pippi...feeling decidedly homesick for the North!! Wandered off to the west coast and found the barefoot crofter, then ended up nestled under rainbows...a lovely morning.
Need to get outside for a bit and breathe some fresh air...the washing is done and needs to be hung out...not sure how dry it will get today, dull and overcast, with no wind to speak of. Oh well at least the clothes will get a fresh airing....and so will I!! No weeding...too much bending, not good in my state.
Might have a go at some sewing or knitting later...a nice lazy day.
Have a great day everyone xx

I love that we're all under the same sky - isnt' it a quote from a movie? I've always liked the saying. With that in mind I drove home last night a took a few pictures of my commute from town, whilst its not everyones idea of a commute - driving through gorgeous scenery we often don't see what's under our noses do we?
I'm glad you've taken it easy. :A
I agree pippi - we all have so much going on in the way of families / work / bills - some of these things are nice but they have their own pressures too and sometimes it is hard to appreciate something lovely right in front of us when we are rushing around and our mind is on other things.
