On boat, what a drive, trees over roads, blocked roads, snow etc, BLEURGH. Then the boat went through the flow (keiss knows that means its blinking rough)
Hugs to all, almost home, damage in central scotland looked horrific.
Ta for the warnings and updates chaps xxx road was closed long enough to avoid the worst blizzard keiss, thankfully. Yuk yuk, but compared with you lot south (except Chev) you got it worse xx hope you are all safe. Xx
Home soon LT love every penny being a prisoner.....:)

Blimey Pippi, well done on getting through, though must have been scary!!! :T
This is why we don't venture further north than Kinross @ Christmas/NY....the weather is just so unpredictable. Aaargh to going through the Flow....there were a few trips when returning from Stromness, we ended up at Wick...pre ro-ro days...the longest took over 10 hours!!!:eek: That was my worst trip across the Firth...and only aged 15 too, just me and my 13 year old sis.
You say it was worse down south....we didn't have the snow!!
I even managed to get a load of washing dried on the line today !! It was lovely and sunny for a few hours this afternoon...honest! Still a bit breezy, though it seems to have calmed down a lot now, and the temps are dropping...5 degrees now.
You will be sooo pleased to get back home and into your own bed...hope the wind hasn't caused too much devastation.
Invigilating again tomorrow...most of my students turned up today, so a few more pennies earned. Off to do some paid IT work now...should get an hour or two before bed.
Night, night all xx

He was pretty good. I wasn't expecting much as DD was an October baby and nearly all the photos I've got of her 1st Christmas are of her sleeping. Dylan was a lot more awake. DD loved "helping" him open his presents though. He slept all through church in the morning and was awake for when we came back ready for present opening. It was lovely.
