    Happy new year, and may it be the one where you see the CC's cleared, and maybe even a little wonder around a special secret location with some good family and friends

    :hello:Hello GP, how nice to see you, hope you're doing well.

    I'm going to follow that linkie too, I like the sound of that :j

    Ay up to you too KC! :hello:

    The more folk making rhubarb champagne = the merrier!! (in more ways than one :rotfl:)

    I like how Frugaldom mentions if your rhubarb is particularly deep red in colour, you end up with 'pink champagne' - very sophisticated!

    Love the champagne recipe Greying, I have bookmarked it for when I have my glut of rhubarb later on this year.

    Up before everyone else here @ Keiss Towers and have the second load of washing on. A bit chilly out atm, so no hanging the first lot up until I am washed & dressed, which I will do after I have finished my breakfast of porridge..yummmm!

    Going to try and get organised today:

    Finish the great food stocktake;
    Draw up a menu-plan for at least the next two weeks;
    Fill in my 2012 spending spread-sheet (Ik£a yesterday!! :eek:);
    Get my crafting spread-sheet sorted;
    Talk to DH about how to manage our income/outgoing better...wish me luck on that one!!
    Do some cleaning/ironing - hate both, so not looking forward to this! :D

    That's "all", but I will no doubt find other things to do to distract me from what I should be doing!

    Have a good Monday everyone xx

    Hi all
    The mention of Rhubarb champagne reminded me, my rhubarb is starting to grow! Yesterday there was a knobbly lump above soil level and today a little leaf is unfurling. The worlds gone mad!

    Exciting that kids arrive back today Pippi!!

    Hope you have a save journey home tomorrow. Looks like the gritters forgot to turn out in England in many places last night, so lots of accidents this morning!! :eek: Still only 5 deg outside, not been any warmer all day today :o.

    Still trying to sort out all my spreadsheets...what a nightmare...DH keeps disappearing when I need to get information from him, and I have to traipse through the house to track him down!

    Take care on the roads and hope the Firth isn't too choppy!
