    Hey up all!

Hope you've all had a lazy/productive Sunday, depending on what needs to be done at your particular homestead. We've had a 'bit of both' - always a good move, you make progress and avoid guilt - win win.

And congratulations to rtandon27 - can't help but notice your little edit - a C/C paid off - yeh!! :j

Have just had tea (frog in a bog, vegan version to 'save' on eggs) and watched the opening preview of Chelsea Flower Show programme. Wow wee is it going to be a scorcher this year. The planting in the Korean 'border' garden was ab.so.lute.ly stunning. As James Wong said, it was so naturalistic, you'd of thought it had been in situ for years, not days.

Got gifted some rhubarb today, so off to scoff rhubarb crumble with DP.

hope you got some rest today Pippi.
I stewed some rhubarb for Mr LT today.
I spent the afternoon at a local country fayre. They had some lovely things there including a bloke who makes chicken coops and runs and the most snazzy chickens you could ever see. It makes me want to chickens even more.

ooooo - all the talk of Canada & maple syrup - it's downright homey on the thread this week!:j

It's the first time I've ever heard the word exotic used in the same sentence as Canada!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Baby chickens - how exciting!!! - can't wait to see piccies of the little chicks on your 'other place' Pippi!

:rotfl: But it *is* exotic for us, RT! I'd certainly never seen a traffic queue of motorboats, for instance, till I went to Canada!

Good catch from Greying - RT, you paid off a cc! Congratulations! Must try and download some of Chelsea, it sounds lovely. As does frog in a bog :D:D:D

My Sunday has been focussed on getting ready to go back to work after being lurgified this week (again!) and getting some doctors to pay attention to various aches and pains - and they did, one of the nurses came right out to reception with some painkillers for me :o:o:o they were very nice. When I left, I had another form of painkiller, also known as a chocolate bar :j I thought it was only fair

    Morning all
Budgie - I'll pm here on the book of face. Glad you're holding the fort.

Keiss - I know same here.

Exciting news is my hen is alive and well and sitting quite happily on a large clutch of eggs - which means chicks - unexpected chicks but hey ho - I'm so glad she's not gone forever (IYSWIM)

Today - womble lands beckon - then teaching. Busy busy day,

Need do banks etc and wrap up - its arctic out there.

Glad to hear the hen is safe and well. :)

As of yesterday I am a facebook member, well it takes Dear Budgie a while to catch up with new technology. :o

Have a fabby week and take care.

    Evening all

Hope you all had a good weekend, mine was hectic, but enjoyable.

It was busy at the shop on Saturday, so I didn't get much sewing tuition done, but I sold 4 machines!! Had a lovely time at a quilt show on Sunday, did two workshops and spent some money :oHere's a link to what I made at the workshops.

I hope everyone managed to get some of the heat that appeared today...reached over 28 degrees here!!

Have a great week everyone....when will your new chooks hatch Pippi?
