You found the hen! Excellent
More chicks tho ... actually, how long do hens like yours live? Are the ones you've got heading towards the end of their lives naturally, so that you need replacements?
And as for being in the black - woo! is all I can say to that! Plus, if the money goes to Pluto, I'd quite like to go out there too and take a lookyou know me and manned space flight :j
Greying, sounds like you had a lovely weekend too - absolutely loving the thought of you waving at Pippi across the sea2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Yay indeed
Thanks chaps!
Loooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggg day yesterday home at 9.45 from an early leave the hoose! Yawn - I'll be so glad when May's over.
Today more scary paperwork stuff - gardening - invigilating and somehow or other meeting two folks for a cuppa/chat (social) - DD to piano then either tea in town or tea at home and back to town for school concert and a late home.
I'm wondering if I should continue to rent or actually just live in my car? All will settle after May. (Thats my mantra
Hope you're all good today?
£120 for an invoice paid in cash - the money fairies have imbided £20 of it already - I hate cash it eats itself.
I MUST put that in the bank today and that's going straight to the cc - which will be needed soon as Darwins exhaust is here and he's having surgery and a pre-MOT a week on Friday.
EEEK.
Off to tackle scary paperwork as leaving at 10.30......

SF one celebratory cuppa coming up!
Enjoy your night out!
I've just paid off one CC (lucifer) in one lump (all of this months wages required and had just cleared).
Now why did I do that????? well Lucifer cc has a 0% for 9 months transfer on the balance offer available - and I might - *still not decided* use that to pay a huge chunk of the other CC which is higher interest (there is a 3% fee) but that is hardly anthing compared with the interest on the balance of the other card which is a silly apr. So, I've the option to use this until 9th June - so I've cleared it at the moment and I'm going to think about whether I use that offer or keep the card cleared.
Is that the stoozing thing? I'm not sure - basically if I use the 0% money I can pay the higher cc off quicker and then pay back the 0% before its due in 9 months. Well that MIGHT be the plan, I've a couple weeks to ponder.big smiley face here.
cuppa's all round.
I paid £50 off Captain in the mean time and must put that £100 cash in the bank.toast on too!
One cc cleared and we're poor again - thats a fair swap.
Why does it feel so good to clear a CC - OK the banks now heavily in Overdraft again but its 0% OD so thats at least better than the cc balance rates.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Pippi sounds like you are really tackling the cards. Well done on being rich too even if it was just for a day. Glad you found the hen too.....and chicks :j
I hate cash too. More coins than notes though. I can carry a note in my purse for ages and not spend it cos "I don't want to break into a 10er for a bar of chocolate, magazine etc" but once it's broken not and there's coins in my purse it just disappears who knows where.
LT shame your tree isn't the syrup variety. Although if it was you'd have numerous visitors wanted to bottle some
Keiss and Greying glad you've both had lovely weeks
Hi to everyone else
Been a bad week here. DS is teething and if he hasn't been sleeping (in fits and starts) he's been screaming. I have really struggled. Luckily the teething powders now seem to be helping as he's actually smiled at me today and had a short play on his belly. He also ate his breakfast without crying which is good.
We'll be having a quiet day here today I thinkGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000
