    Evenng all.
My you all mostly have had busy days, with lots of ups and downs. <<<<hugs>>>> to anyone who needs any.

I managed to clean upstairs and done a mound of washing, so a pile of ironing tomorrow. We went out to the beach for a couple of hours this afternoon and the kids loved the walk and playing in the playground. So everyone was pretty tired and have gone to sleep pretty sharpish.
I'm in the middle of some filing and sorting out the computer area as it is one of those areas in our house that accumulates rubbish and odds and ends and I can no longer get in the drawers and cupboard!!!

OH is flat on the floor on his stomach doing a jigsaw, I have several to do but haven't really had time since Ds2 was born. Maybe this year! sometime.
I hope you all have a good night.
    Smoky. xxxx

Looby I am sure your friend appreciates it, haven't stopped thinking about those little children without their Mam all day, really hit me especially as they are so close to my sons ages and I had a run in with tumours myself recently. Really hope time is a healer for their little broken hearts :( can't imagine what they are going through.

I'd say can be compared to Ikea, but the quality (and some prices) are a little higher. Well worth a nosey, and bonus if you get vouchers etc. It was so busy when I popped in (opening week) that I didn't spend long in there, intend to have a look again when I am looking for something 'housey' as DP calls it. There is quite a bit on the website which gives you an idea of what they sell https://www.ilva.co.uk and you can download the catalogue (which I am doing now as was on PC before went pop! ) I really like the style of some of the things they sell. (less foreign names to confuse you aswell)

Strawberries, raspberries, tomatoes, in fact most red things, I think maybe the colour attracts him, they aren't the most intelligent of animals, he crashes into the glass on the vivarium quite often, I think he forgets it's there, falls off his branches when reaching etc, in all honesty when it comes to lizards Beardys like Woody are probably the most intelligent, but they have a tiny brain. He sussed quickly when new people came in he got food, as kids like seeing his tongue pop out when he catches his food.

Goodnight to those off to sleep, I can't yet as DS1 still up, oh the joys of kids who don't sleep

Ive looked, many thanks. Some nice things on there, but like you say - a little pricey! Might be worth a trip one day/week end, when the kids are with their dad again. Thanks for the info!

I bet woody is fascinating to watch. You lucky thing!

    Goodnight xxx

  • Sorry I haven't read the whole thread but I cannot risk being old and grey before I get to the end.:D
(((((Hugs))))) to everyone whether you need them or not, especially to Looby-loo Quiet day here. Went out for a meal this evening. We won it in the PTA auction in November. Vey nice.:D
As for my user name..... Well, yes I do eat more starmix than is natural. It's an addiction that stems from my childhood..... My father used to bring them back from Germany before they were available over here;)
    Sleep well everyone.

Haribos, just the thought gives me toothache now but when DP and I went to Paris in 1999, we saw a market being set up on morning, when we came back out there was over 30 stalls full of Haribos! I've never seen so many, or teddies/strawberries etc so BIG! We bought about £30 worth, most of which went into the staff room at work when we got back as we ended up with toothache!

Haribo - thought of you today when in Somerfields! Loads of H stuff but my DGSd don't like it unfortunately. I remember days when we went to Makro when kids were wee and I bought them Haribo type stuff in a huge tube as a treat. Me, I used to buy a tub of the sherbert spaceships!!!

Sherbert spaceships :) take the tops off and tip them into a cup of fizzy pop, then Mam would shout as we made a mess as it fizzed everywhere :rotfl: like a little volcano in a cup, great fun, oh the memories.
