Okay guys, we spoke again about it last night.
I explained the fact that when we had previously discussed it he agreed with everything and told me to go ahead - even though he knew the consequences.
He has agreed to try % it out just now. Not quite 60/40 I will be paying around 43% though so still less. It means that I will have around £25 a week left (after all bills and 1/2 the food shop) and he will have around £60-£70 a week left ( I will also add this is AFTER his savings go into his credit union account so he will still be saving). We are going to see how this works out. I can also work overtime but it isn't always guaranteed so have told him that in order to pay for household upkeep/decor etc I will work overtime when I can and give him 1/2 of that, wether he puts it towards house things or just into his bank is upto him.
Thanks again everyone for your advice.0 -
Hi,
I think you are working things, ok, if you were my babe I would accept the set up.
Good luck, and take care.0
