End of the year is a bit flat to be honest :( Staying in tonight and realised that I wasn't actually invited anywhere!

No big resolutions thing, don't want to set myself up for failure :p I suppose it's all about making a little more effort - eating better, exercising, being organised and looking after myself :)

And a January target to lose 7lbs!

    HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Well, I'm inviting you to share your evening with me, both here, and over at my diary :D.

I have G&T, Baileys, Disaronno, Pimms, Red, White, Rose & Sparkling Rose ...

& to accompany that we have kettle chips, doritos & peanuts ...

No wonder I need to lose 20lbs :rotfl:I've decided to aim for 5lb loss each month & anything extra will be bonus. Keeping it off is whole other matter though :o

But that's not happening 'til monday, so my lovely what would you like to start with tonight ?

Thank you for your invitation - gratefully accepted :). I have just opened pink bubbles - and in honour of my fabulous new life in 2012 I am drinking from a proper crystal champagne flute!

    Cheers! :D

  • I have a miniature of Cointreau sat in the cupboard too, no idea what on earth to do with it but it's been there for some years and have decided it has to be drunk very soon! :rotfl:

oh and enough single malt to sink a ship!

As I only spend about £2 a day on a sandwich/jacket from the staff restaurant I'm Ok with it really, and not sure I'd save a massive amount taking my own lunches in? As we have a restaurant there is no fridge/micorwave etc. What I need to cut out/down is the extras - cake in the afternoon, cans of drink etc :o

oh if you have a canteen you'll be fine - we don't :( and the nearest shops are Tesco and M&S neither of which do my budget any favours!

LHG I have suggestions... use it up in dark chocolate mousse/ use it in cocktails/ chuck a bit in Pimms in the summer/ drink it neat over lots of ice :)

Happy New Year Shoesy, may you have a fabulous time :T
