    Thanks everybody :A

Family party here on Christmas Eve went well, food seemed to be appreciated so all the last minute stuff paid off. Really do want to be more organised in 2012 though, so not everything is always full of last minute stress :o

Yesterday I had a lovely, family day with lots of laughs :D , fab pressies and way to much food and drink! ;) Quieter day today, off to my Mum's later and need to pick my car up. Just chilling at the moment with my Kindle and my Westlife CD! :)

Lazy day yesterday - and another one today :D Been to see Alvin and the Chipmunks :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Loved it! :)

Am coming down with a cold so am planning an early night. Depending how I feel tomorrow I might face the scales - and tackle clearing out my wardrobe. I have rejoined Lula's clothes challenge this year - I can't do any worse than last year :o I am determined to lose some weight which would open up my wardrobe - but if I succeed then I think I'll deserve a treat too ;)

My YouGov £50 has gone into my bank account so that can be paid to Barclaycard - am going to throw as much as I can at that, would be fab if I could clear it in 2012!

Ok, I'll go see the Chipmunks then.

I need to get her head out of books, I bought her a trilogy called The Hunger Games & she's nearly finished the second one now, & only started them yesterday - costs me a fortune in books !

Have been sat here reviewing bank and credit card statements for the past 12 months and there is no escaping the fact that I overspend by around £100 per month on 'stuff' :o Seems obvious what my NYR needs to be!

One of my big areas for improvement is not meal planning/shopping sensibly - far too many Co-op/Tesco/Asda debits - in fact, almost daily! I also plan to cut my work lunches spending - allowing myself £10 per week for lunches and drinks (I know buying lunch is not very MSE but it forces me away from desk and into taking a break - but will definately take coffee/drinks in)

Probably a £5 per month saving on fuel by being organised and going to Asda/Tesco and not waiting until the light is on and going to the expensive Esso near work :o
