Living my life in fabulous shoes!

I've sat down and worked out my true debt total - £17,273.68! About £650 more than I was showing in my signature because I have been putting things on the CC and not clearing it on payday
So I've decided to take all my other debts back to minimum payment and throw everything at Barclaycard (£1156.25). Cutting my payments to minimum gives me £60 per month extra towards Barclaycard and then I will pay any other spare money I get towards it too - would like to clear it by 31st August 2012!
So there's my first target for 2012 - lots more to come, and also need to do a proper budget tooSometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -
Hey shoe gal glad to see your back.
I am in a similar position to you, need to lose weight, have been single since may last year, and have lots of debt. Only difference is i have 2 very beautiful but very very annoying kids.
Its great that you are concentrating on one debt at a time, this may keep you more focused as you arent looking as the whole number and wanting to scream. I too concentrate on overpayments to one certain debt, it helps me to keep on track too.PAD Maker0 -
Hiya hon,
oooh Pippa is lovely - Merry Christmas to you both
Nice work on You Gov, I'm still about £12 away & the minute I reach payout I'm quitting - it's definitely not been the most rewarding survey site I've used.
Very amused that your extra debt is exactly the same amount that I've not paid off either !
Ugh to wrapping & writing - I'm doing that today too, nice to see you have lots of socialising going on

Love the handbag lady, I need a new black one at some point soon. My current one was bought in the Grand Bazaar (hence the username) back in 2007!'The road to a friends house is never long'0

Drinks with a friend last night and off out agian tonight
My social life is mad at the moment - but am loving it :j However, sadly, I have a funeral to attend tomorrow so will be missing office Christmas lunch. It's much more importnat that I am there to support a friend though
As a result of all the socialising my waistline and my bank balance are not healthybut they can be something to worry about in the New Year

Yay for Socialising!
I'm trying to do this too this week, caught up with bestie from Primary school and the nice-ex Monday, and am catching up with current bestie today. Mainly because with uni and work, after this week I will have no life for a month and a half. Sigh. Such a good MSE girl aren't ILBM - June 2014 DFD Goal: June 2016 (28th Bday!)
