Fun night out last night with my team - and silly Secret Santa pressies!
Finished the charity slim at work, at final weigh in I was 4lbs heavier than when I startedOh well, something to worry about in the New Year methinks
Busy day at work, and tonight I really need to get some 'stuff' done! Can't put it off much longer, and I'm out for drinks tomorrow night with another one of the teams I've been adopted into!Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -

Hey,
Hope you dont mind me subscribing - I have just started a diary aswell in the last couple of day to pay off debt & lose the lbs aswell - I'm finding it fine for paying off the debt I'm set in my mind with that but the weight thing I'm finding so hard right now!
Anyway hopefully we can help each other on this journey we're on!
Good luck

After baking a cake at midnight last night, and icing it at 6.00am this morning I really am feeling that I should get more organised! Had agreed to a charity bake off at work but went for after work drinks last night meaning I was shopping for ingredients at 11pm! Cake turned out OK so worth the effort I suppose
Had some lovely gifts at work, and have 4 days next week to get on top of all my work stuff before I finish for the Holidays. Am expecting it to be fairly quiet though so should be able to get through everything
Am going out for drinks tonight then plan to spend the weekend getting organised! I have 7 presents to buy, cards to write and post, a birthday present to organise and need to think about a food shop as I am hosting family on Christmas Eve! My social diary is pretty full again next week and I don't want to be running around like a mad thing when I finish next weekSometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -
Readers of my previous diary may remember my dilema about buying a DKNY handbag with some vouchers I got from work? Well I finally bought it and then decided I didn't love it £200 worth - technically free or not! So back it went
I am now the pround owner of a Modalu Pippa in black http://www.modalu.com/pippa-1.html and I love it!

A good nights sleep after a hectic week, then treated myself to having my nails painted scarlet before facing the Christmas shopping. Got it all done and not as stressful as I expected. The shops weren't nearly as busy as the TV was predicting and I had no problem parking either. Not good for retailers but it suited me fine!
Got a couple of presents with Nectar points so very MSE! Budget is looking OK so far (my plan was to spend no more on presents, catering and socialising than my extra December pay so not increasing my overall debt)
Reached 5000 points on YouGov yesterday so redeemed for £50 - that can be paid straight to a debt when it arrives
Nothing planned tonight except watching Westlife. Tomorrow I need to start wrapping, card writing and planning what I'm going to serve at my family party on Christmas Eve. Have another busy week with social stuff so don't want to be rushing around at the last minute
After the midnight baking the other night I really feel that I need to focus on getting organised! I'm sure if I was organised it would be good for my overall wellbeing - I often feel stressed and tired, doing stuff at the last minute under pressure. Some planning and routines would actually mean I end up doing more with less stress - something to work on in 2012Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -
Know the feeling with being organised ShoeGal, spent the entirety of yesterday organising my room... and life (*cough*).
Simplicity really does seem to make the days go by easier and make things all the more enjoyable... Also makes it a lot easier to concentrate on the things that are important to us... Like shoes..
*Confession... currently obsessing over 4 pairs... Haven't bought any.. yet. Why do the wonderful things in life cost so much money? Sigh...

Oh.. and if you are chasing organisation, I just finished reading The Everygirl's Guide to life by Maria Menounos.. I highly recommend it. It has a full chapter on organising your wardrobe! Great for girls like usLBM - June 2014 DFD Goal: June 2016 (28th Bday!)
