I AM DEBT FREE ~ AGAIN
hi all i am back, and you guessed it the first thing i did was check my balances and i am debt free :rotfl: I had a fab time didnt want to come back, could have stayed there forever
I now have to face a big decision and i only have really a week to decide... and i dont wanna
just sorting out the amounts i have spent, i think i have overspent by £10
but and i will hide now, i did lend my mum £20... i know i know but it was one of those things, on the up side i did however get £10 back from the holiday park for my linen deposit :T all in all i had a fab time wish i could still be there  0 -
Welcome back Pap, huge congratulations for being debt free, £10 overspend is really not bad at all, and if lending your Mum £20 meant you had a great holiday, well, that's not too bad (as long as it was a one-off
).
What's your big decision? Anything we can help with?"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

still havent tallyed up my spends yet will do it asap... and i know i will get the money back thursday so i have no problems
oh and it is a one off
my problem is my driving instuctor has found my dream car, now when we started i gave him a little run down of what i would like, not thinking anything of it but while i was on holiday he phoned me and found a fab car (on paper) not seen it yet... its a fiat 126 ~ white ~ 1991 (J) ~ 9,000 miles ~ new mot ~ 2 owners (mother and daughter) ~ no rust ~ as new ~ £1999.00. Now there are many problems with this and it kinda haults all my plans... here is a run down
* will require a loan ~ debt
* i can afford to go to college
* be able to get back away camping without needing lifts/with someone
* will be able to look into next year as my gap 6 months ~ as long as i past my test
* freedom ~ away from my mother
* costs involved ~ nearly £200 per month
* cant move out
* can find a better job
* could get a better wage then afford to move out
* can find a job with live in accomodation in the middle of nowhere
anyways i have no idea what to do... i may not be allowed a loan to finance it but i am in a real pickle about it all, mum wants to take me to see it tommorow, but i dont want to go and see it fall in love with it then i cant have it for many reasons, its like showing a baby candy then taking it away
opinions please

I had a fiat 126 as my first car (well, it was my Mums car actually, I just borrowed it)....it broke down 13 times during the 12 months I had it

But I suspect that was down to it being a complete lemon, and probably no reflection on fiats in general."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Having said that, they're great for parking!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

well i think i have talked myself out of it, whats the point when i dont think i will pass? whats the point in anything? i think i will just save and decide as and when what to do etc etc :rolleyes:0

I think you will pass PAP.....but I think your idea of just keeping saving for now and then making the decision when you've got some savings behind you is a good one. If you are not sure what you want to do now, hopefully things will be a bit clearer once you have the money to put one of your plans into action.
Try not to feel as though there's no point - remember you felt that way just before your holidays too and then the moving-out-of-home plan was born and you were really positive again. Coming back off holiday can put you on a bit of a downer, but I bet you'll be feeling more enthusiastic about things in a few days time."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
