  • Pap I think that's a great idea. I actually just suggested this to my mum tonight (she is after a hobby when her OU course ends and is quite creative).

    Go for it! :money:

Edit: Also a colleague used to bring in cards she had made now and then and leave them in the kitchen for people to look at and pay her if they wanted any. They always disappeared within a day or two!

    How exciting!!

Actually fac just reminded me - we have a guy who brings in cards in a basket and leaves them at our works. People pay the receptionist and he comes back every few weeks to collect/swap cards out.

Maybe you can find a few nice friendly businesses near you who will do the same?

    Just a thought!

PAP - don't sweat it. I could give you the whole spiel about about how it's not how many times we fall over, but how many times we get up that matters but you know all that.

So instead, you have my sincerest and most heartfelt respect for saying, "you know what, I fell down, but I can get back up again and here's how." But don't beat yourself up about this, there are so many factors at play here and it's early days.

We spend so much time on here talking about becoming debt free that so little is spoken about how to BE debt free. It's a steep learning curve!

At least you know that your extra spends are shot term-ish.
Is there no way that you can get to your BF's bash?
It would be such a pain to miss it.

    hi beanie :hello:

well its the driving at present that is costing me far too much, but as you say its short term and hopefully should end sharpish. Its mad because i have never had so many lesson anyway, usually i was averaging 8 hours per month  anyways...

well i have to go to her bash as at present its only me and her :rotfl:hoping to grab some other but yes i cant miss it and shant... i have £174.78 for the month so breaking it down ~

£50 ~ weekly £10 however i am hoping that i can do some weeks of £5
    £50 ~ birthday bash

This then leaves £74.78 which i darnt touch till the 5th  anyway i work it because of driving its very tight. If the worse comes to the worst i will have to get some savings out  but i shall cross that bridge when i get there ~

But my terramundi pot shall have to wait for novembers pay day now :o

Oh and to make things worse my order from avon needs to be payed tommorow £8.35 and my studio order on monday £16... both of which i budgetted for but both were cancelled now they have arrived   and the worse part is none of it is for me except one spary for £1.50 :rotfl:

anyways enough of ranting, i am already feeling guilty as i am suposed to be in college
