la ~ yes i will apply, even if i dont get it the interview stage will be an eye opener as i know there they do panels  As for the other one and ebay yes definatly... Its funny because nearly everyone who has 'seen' my items from the weekend and such has asked for orders :o two more today... its amazing and i can really see a profit espec if i carboot/work sale them :D

sarach ~ well this is it i can afford some of it but i can get carryed away. But its one of those things that only come along once in a blue moon. I worked out with some of the items she is selling i could make in excess of 500 cards  So i think i am going to be very naughty and try for them, even if it means digging into my savings... If i am going to make this work i need to give 100% after all the holiday isnt till next september and i only need a £200 deposit in november. I am quite lucky too as they are ending between sat~monday which is my weekend off work ~ i think its fate :rotfl:

It is fate! U should definately go for it, if u can make more than 500 cards from the things, ur bound to recoup ur money! Give urself a limit oof what u'll go to and stick to it....

  • little update and rant from me if i may

cards are going well, brought some more cards today works out 10p per card and envelope :D still watching the auctions and finally made some more... have roughly 10 already :j

need your advice though... i want to add something to the back with who made them etc... now i have seen stickers but i would like the same image throughout and unless i buy thousands (;)) i will prob run out sooner than i think so i ahev seen stamps (self inking and not) now these range (with p&p) from £10 to £5. What do you think? stamp/stickers? It will basically have my name (well the company name as i wont use my name) and my email address.

Anyways small rant ~ i have been sat reading this site for a couple of hours and 2 things has got my goat. The main one is someone putting down my job. Ok not my exact one but simaler (more simaler than the op's relise), simaler wage and everything. Basically slating the job and wage. Now i know i shouldnt take it to heart but dont people think before they post on an open forum  or is it just me having an off day?

Anywyas dont answer any of that i am off to my wii i think to relax :rotfl:

Or have u already thought of a name for ur company?
Re the job thing, don't take it to heart... It's just someones opinion... I work in retail (I am assuming u do, sorry if its a wrong assumption:o ), and for what I do the pay is pretty pants, and altho I have stressy days, I love it!
