    :hello: PaP!
I think that the stamp sounds like a great idea :) I mean, its more environmentally friendly and it'll be a lot cheaper in the long run i think. I can't wait to see these cards of yours, please let me know when you're up and running wont you?
((HUGS)) about the person who was being rude about your job. Any job, whether its in a shop or in a restaurant or in an office, if you enjoy it then its good enough. I hate people who have standards on jobs; if you need to pay bills or whatever and you enjoy what you're doing, it doesn't matter what the job is.
The two jobs you've mentioned sound great, fingers crossed for you on those! They can only say no, right? and if they do, then at least you know you'll have tried your best.

Ideas about an image... I'm sorry but I'm useless at thinking of artistic things! Have you got any small animals, or a leaf or something? Lol, see, told you I was rubbish!
I was in town earlier and was in the Au Naturale shop (the home bit of Internationale) and they had lots of crafty bits, things to stick on the front of cards and whatnot. Made me think of you! Not sure whether that's helpful or not - you could get packs of sticker things to be on the front for £1.50 and they were either 5 or 6 in a packet. :)
hope you're having a good afternoon!

    Only me! :D

Just dashing on to say I like the idea of the stamp, as, as someone else pointed out, it's more environmentally friendly. You can have fun designing it too! Remember to look and see if anyone does stamps on QuidCo!

As for whoever it is slating a job, take no notice. My first thought when I read what you said was "Ooooo-er...losers..." (not you - them).

How can you slate a job and honest pay and expect anyone to take you seriously. Maybe they have issues with their own jobs/security/self worth and have to attempt to bring down someone else in the process fo making themselves feel better.

Try and think of the world (the western world perhaps) without people doing your particular job. I think we'd all notice....

If you tell me now that you carry out experiments on vulnerable people or are involved in ethnic cleansing then I might change my stance...

    Apart from that...I wouldn't worry!

  • Hi Pap :) Glad to hear you sounding positive about making your cards - you'll probably get a few MSE customers too :money:

As for someone talking down your job - it's really not worth listening to. Some people like to think they are better than others  as if your job defines who you are

As for your stamp - you like penguins don't you, how about one of those? :D (I loooooooooooooooove penguins!)
