Hey PAP - you're welcome (support thing).
If you are ill and can't go in....the shop will have to get staff in from another branch if possible?
However if you do go in....just be careful and only do what really *has* to be done, no heroics ok? Just do the most important tasks and the rest can be picked up on Monday by your colleagues who are fit & well.
I think you need to look for another job too - even if it's still in retail it could be for another type of shop with perhaps a nicer environment? Give it some thought. It's not forever....but it would buy you some time. I am sure you could get another retails job fairly easily with your experience now.

Pap I worked as a TA in a school and one more thing i would point out is that with Maths coursework you need to write an introduction. Say what you are doing and what you intend to prove. I.e. This is what we were doing - example only - I am investigating and analysing data on second hand cars. I am going to do a series of graphs and charts, i.e pie charts, line graphs, and scatter graphs. It is my intention to provide evidence that the age/make/mileage (they had a choice) of the car has an effect on the final sale price.
This is very simple but I would say that you could probably adapt this to your coursework. Also, the more detail you provide, and the more explanation, the more marks you gain. I dont mean waffle but any relevant information. Then after the introduction you have to show your results with explanations. Then after that you write an evaluation of your results. Which is talking about your results. Finally, you write a conclusion which sums up what you found out.The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0 -
As for Excel, it is excellent for graphs. I know how to set them up if you have managed to get hold of it. Ive got Open Office but I dont think its got the same facility for graphs. At least if it has then I havent worked out how to use it. I think I will have a look at it. One other thing I would mention is that I tried to send an Open Office document as an attachment on an email and the person I was sending it to who had Word could not open it. So its not easy to send by email if for instance you were emailing your coursework to your tutor. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

Ive just had a look on ebay and the cheapest Ive seen Excel for is £96. Thought it might be cheap on there. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

la ~ we are 'on our own' no one else is trained on our department so tis only me, as for all the other work, i will have to do it all monday anyways  i seem to be increasing the only one doing certain tasks, give them there due though they have been helping more
as for the other job i am 100% going to seriously look for one now. this is only my second job but i have done retail/till operator and catering now, someone must want me :rotfl:
tes ~ thanks i must admit my work at the moment does look a bit scarce without a introduction, basically i have just started ~ thanks i shall add that. With regards to excel i have now (after nearly an hour) worked out how to get the works spreadsheet running and that does graphs too :T so thats a good thing, saves spending extra as i looked online at teh prices, but not ebay  :rotfl: and i shall be 'handing in' my coursework so no emails involved
gem ~ thanks0 -
