kev ~ i think they are beyond saving to be honest... i have still gone for option e and although she keeps mentioning things i have just let it be... i havent got a magic wand everyone seems to think i have
sm ~ :rotfl: my keyboard is fine, just having a few personal problems, i have had them before but i usual deal with them quicklty, this time it got the better of me hence me not posting often. I am back now though and will post a little update post
raph ~ how are you? i havent seen you in ages either... i hope you have updated your diary? if not please dohope you had fun with your brother

right now a little update ~
money ~ because of driving i havent saved anything this month except £10 to ing, £25 to my locked savings and £5 to my halifax savings. I am having a month off :j so i have done more xmas shopping and i must admit i have brought some more games for me... i brought my sims £5 (i used £25 worth of vouchers that a kind lady gave me) kororinpa for £18 and pikmin for £6.46. I have also went on a money binge and havent followed any of the money going out/into my accountsi shall do though ~ today
work ~ its killing me, without going into detail getting up and going into work is geting harder and harder. There are many factors and not just one thing. So i am going to see my boss and see if the two week holiday i have in may (for my holiday abroad) can be droped to one week and i can have a holiday maybe in november or january. Because i cant wait till may, that would have ment 10 months between holidays . I need some time off i need to cut myself off from there for a while. I want to search for another job though but most are only taking on xmas temps... now what do i do? apply for jopbs and get a temp job (still in retail) or do i stick it out here untill the new year?
holidays ~ because of the work thing i have told my mum i cant go abroad in may, secretly i think she is relived too. so i am still going with my best friend in september and me and mum will go to a caravan somewhere like we usually do. It will be cheaper at £50 each and also it means i can help with driving etc etc because i would have passed by thenI think thats the best compromise... I am going to look into prices later today and may book once i get my money out of my savings so its done
driving ~ its perfect, i know loads and i am very positive with this new instructor. I was supposed to ahve my test today but he is on holiday so we have moved it but i am pleased we have and i am sure i will pass next time
xmas/birthdays ~ i am finished... all i need is more cherry items and a few more smellies for my mums basket. All the big prezzies are vouchers or done except my mums... now i have decided to buy her a mattress for xmas they are on offer at work wednesday for £89 for a silentnight miricoil so will cost me £95. However i will give it to her early. The reason is she has the same mattress as she had when my dad was here, some 8 years ago and its killing her backso she will have it early but she will know that that is her xmas gift so xmas day it wont look like she has much but she has.
weight ~ i put on a 1lb this week... kitkats are your friend :rotfl: so from 24/6/07 i have lost 1 stone 3lbs... 3 stone 10lbs to go till i hit my ultimate goal however if i get to size 14/16 and i feel comfortable i will be happy. I have lost my motivation these last few weeks but i shall find it again :T
right i think thats it... sorry for the essaytake care all

Hi PAP
Sounds like you have been having a tough time, I agree totally with the holiday! Although I still have loads to take (I just never get round to it!) Make sure that you are ok as you are the most important thing. Taking some time off from money is ok, so long as you get back into it.
Anyway good to have you back xCurrent debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -

Glad to see you back Pap and sorry to hear it's been a bit of a bad week so far - but you seem to have sorted things out and know what you're doing
10 months between holidays is far too long so good luck with speaking to your boss - we all need a short break now and then, it'll do you good

Hi pap
Glad to see you back postingwas getting worried about you:o
. Hope you are feeling a little better in yourself, finally telling your mum about not going on the holiday must have taken a lot of pressure off you. (and probably mum too if truth be known)
sometimes you just need to step back and take time out from the pressure, even when it is pressure that we put on ourselves. working, budgeting, saving for holidays, trying to pass your test, going to college - it all starts to get you down after a while.
make time for yourself, your health is important:D

Hi PAP. Just popped in as you weren't around so I thought I'd have a nose and see what was going on!
Anyway, sorry to read things have been tough on you recently.
Big hug to you and hope that the holiday is approved, there is no way you can go 10 months without a break!
If the holiday is not approved I hope they will give you good reason why not!
I don't know your situation so limited to what to advise re: getting another job/temping. But retail is very high turnover isn't it? Temp job might go permanent or, by the time the temp contract runs out, something else might become available elsewhere in the New Year.
If your current job is making you ill (?) then it's time to reassess.....your health comes first, always.
Sorry, I know that's probably not a lot of help but, couldn't not say anything hon!

Hi PAP
SIL decided to leave Morrisons about this time last year (couldn't take the ineffectual manager any longer!), a couple of months later she joined M&S as a temp for the Christmas period and was made perm in mid January. She has never been happier even if sale time is manic! (oh and you don't half get good staff discount!)Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup
