:rotfl:awww bless, you cant do that :A I havent got many, 7 main people then 6 bottles in bags for work I always start in jan though and keep a list on my pc. Ones done, anothers done except a bar of soap which i may 'borrow' from the bathroom, 2 more are nearly there and then its just all the vouchers to buy :T aim to be xmas pressie done and all wraped by october 31st :rolleyes:

Another dumb question comming up ~

is there such thing as a locked savings account? where you have to pay say £20 into each month for 3 years to get any of it back? i tryed googling and wikipediaing with no such luck. Also another thing i have been trying to work out how do credit card cheques work? Obviously i dont want credit card cheques but when they are mentioned on this site (forums) i would like to know how they work etc etc. Thanks

Halifax do a "locked" account. I have just opened one its called a regular saver account. You pay a set amount in by standing order each month up to £250 and you can't have it back for 12 months. I am doing £50 amonth for holidays next year. you can check it online too.
Don't know any for 3 years though. you could always buy premium bonds each month - you wouldn't be able to dip into them as easily as a bank account to spend the money - you don't get interest but you may win a prize.

Ohh. thansk sm, that halifax one sounds good. Do you have to have a bank account with them? I just want some kind of savings account that i know acts like a loan, where i pay into but cant withdraw from it ~ ever (well within a time period). ING accounts are great but i know within 2 clicks i can empty the accounts. Also i would like something that no one knows about, ok technically not everyone knows about my ING accounts, they just know i have savings but... i want something thats mine that can be built up and i a few years time i can withdraw it and not feel like i have missed any money in my soa...
