Oh well, where to start!
It's been a crazy couple of days sorting out things with the insurances and my head is just spinning around after seeing so many numbers. Insurance papers in Hungary are different, they are just so complicated. But getting there, I already got a draft copy today but made a couple of changes so hopefully tomorrow I will get the correct ones.
OH is suffering, he will be off work for another week and a half. We can't sleep in the same room at the moment as he really snores but hopefully when swelling goes down than it will change. I ovulated over the weekend but I don't think we have a chance this month.
Bank balance is still healthy but loan and rent haven't gone out yet. Will update in a week time.
Other than that all good, just busy with everything.0 -
So tired today, just have no energy whatsoever. I can't get a good night sleep as OH wakes me up every hour:(. He is back at work next week and it will be easier, hopefully.
Money wise: sold a Kindle on ebay, making £50 profit. Also Open Uni emailed me back that I only need to pay for my course until July due to refunds and I still have money in my bank account so all is good. Will have a tight month in March though but making the most of it obviously.
No plans for today, can't be bothered with Valentine's day. I'm on cd26, still 5 days to go before I can test though knowing myself I will give in and do a test before. Really hope AF will leave me alone this month.0 -
We got our npower bill this week and our bill was £110 more than this time last year. We haven't used more electricity and gas was minimal too,i guess it's the price increase which really put the price up. I will compare suppliers next month, we are capped in this tariff until the end of March.
Work is busy this week, I did 5 hours overtime and boss owns me £40 as expense as well. OH is really grumpy, demanding me taking care of him but at the moment I need to work as much as I can to pay off the debts, can't really take any unpaid time off and I'm not entitled of any holidays at the moment. It's really hard but what can I do?
We booked train tickets for airport transfers, they were £70 altogether for 6 pairs.
Pregnancy test is negative but I'm not supposed to test until Sunday anyhow...0 -
Af arrived this morning so back to square 1
.
I need to make an overpayment today, just waiting for OH to come home and transfer money to my account. We submitted two claims to BUPA, so hopefully £180 will hit our account very soon. NOthing else is happening:(.
To do list for the weekend:- start assignment and finish it
- submit assignment
- do bills and post them
- send off Bupa
- overpay Lloyds
- call parents
- put bike on gumtree

Hi Dinah:wave:,
Money I can do and control (well, for now) but the rest?
CD4 today and AF is out, thankfully. Swimming tonight, I have plenty to think about and sort out. Our tenant got into money trouble and hasn't been paying the bills, he has appr £800 to pay and although we are not responsible for this, it's still making me wonder whether we should give him notice or not. I just want a nice person who would pay the bills, I don't want to worry about them getting into more and more debts, this side has learnt me a good lesson and if they can't afford it, they should downsize!
Oh well, I figure it out I guess. I still haven't even touched the assignment and it's due on Thurs, I have no energy and motivation whatsoever. I will give up on sleeping tomorrow:o.
Otherwise all is good, I posted a present for OH's niece after he asked his other niece to buy something and I went mad. So that's sorted. It's pay day next week, hopefully I will be able to pay more towards the debt, I really want Lloyds to be under £5000 at the end of March, not sure whether it's achievable though.
Thinking about holiday as well, we are off to Portugal in May but want to go somewhere in Sept or Oct too. Decisions, decisions.0 -
I was without internet for the past 2 days, life is kind of interesting without internet I have to tell you.
Pay day is next week, nothing is happening until than. I have nothing to sell (other than give away on freecycle) and I am not expecting any extra money. I have plenty to do this weekend though:
x clean bath
x clean washing machine
x change bed
x sort out books
x shopping
x close barclays accounts
x swimming
x tax return
x will
x cook
x acupuncture0 -

I did mostly everything on my list, tax return is done but waiting for one more information before I submit it. I also asked Legal and General to send us a form about life insurance beneficiaries, we haven't named anyone and by doing that we wouldn't need to do a will here in the Uk, just one in Hungary (where properties are).
Tenants have deadlines till tmrw to pay, if they fail than we will issue notice to them:(. Stress always.
OH is back in the hospital today, we shall see what they say to him. Payday this week, can't wait!0
