A late comer, can I still join please? I failed miserably last year, for a number of reasons, but need to save up £700 by September, to get back to uni (long story)Make £2012 in 2012 Member 2290

Am a bit gobsmacked!!
Got renewal of home insurance and managed to get it £55 pounds cheaper on-line!
Crazy thing is, it was existing insurer's web-site!
They didn't seem surprised when I told them. I had to phone them to cancel renewal!
Have saved money doing this before, but never this much. Will wait till I get confirmation details and go over them with fine tooth comb before I add it to my total. :T
Exact same thing happened to me with car insurance! It just shows how much these companies rely on people being too lazy/uninformed to shop around - it's worth doing it every time! :TWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Ahhh I've been failing at this the last 2 weeks, lots going on but I really need to get on it! I think this week I'm going to try and get some ebay listings ready and organised to go up on the weekend. Lacking motivation I think!£2012 in 2012 challenge: £915.28/£2012

other than that ebay sales are looking okay ishh... only 2 bids out of 10 but all have several watchers. ending tomorrow so we shall see if anything there sells...
surverys are going slow...seems no one wants to know what a 21 year old student of 1 child wants to know about their stuff! lol
to make my way to £2012 i am going to save the child support money DS dad gives me at the end of the month. £30 a week = £120 a month which he gives me at the end, so will be adding that as soon as i get it. hoping this will boost the savings! i wont miss it as i end up buying DS things he doesnt really NEED (such as expensive shoes) so will be better saved!
i will post my Jan savings once added all up at the end of the month so ill let yallllll know :0)
everyones doing fab and your all keeping me motivated!! kepp posting guys i love reading all.

Sherbie - it was Clipperty who is on fire, i was just wishing him/her well.
I on the other hand put so much on ebay, but only 2 items sold. Seems like i wasted my day :-( Never mind next free listing and it will be easier just to press relist.0 -
Hi guys, not doing great here, had to dip into my savings somewhat, so I'm at around £295 now. Not too bad, I guess.
Anyway, I know a lot of people are bloggers and stuff, and I a lot of bloggers have blog sales, where they just list and picture all the things theyre selling, are there any forums or places online where I could do this? I don't have a blog, but it just seems so much easier to stick all the junk I'm selling in one post, and let people who see it have what they want/make me an offer.
