Hello everyone! Sold a few things on ebay last night and made £79.70!! Yay! Once ive posted every thing I will be listing more, had a massive clear out yesterday and will have to sort through all my black bags to see whats good enough to ebay.
Should be receiving my clubcard vouchers soon and will use £10 worth to get passes for Folly Farm as they will give me £40 in passes, enough for 2 different trips in the spring/summer:) Seeing as Im on such a tight budget this year, I have to think of ways to be able to entertain the children, No holiday for us this year as we really have to get rid of this debt once and for all!0 -

My total this month is £147.37. A bit under the £168 per month total but I'm still waiting on some pay from work and some people to pay for eBay items so that should boost February's total.
Breakdown:
eBay £3.87
Amazon £1.25
Surveys £10
Skimlinks £29.18
Student discount £1
Zapper £11.47
Money owed £20
Commission from work £65
Online jewellery shop £5.600 -
First can I just say  well done to everyone, although we are the most motivated within the first month of a chalenge, we need to keep it up and carry it on throughout the year, you have all done wonderful and the totals are just fantastic. :T
Here is my breakdown
Amazon sale £3.93
Ebay Sales less commission £ 324.35
Extra child benefit claimed (which I would not have done if not for you guys) - £201.00
Child Benefit I did not waste but put into savings - £80.60
Money taken from wages to cover some of the money saved by buying a second hand freezer instead of a new one - £50
Extra income made from other source - £15
Bonus monies £770.00
TOTAL FOR JANUARY £1,444.88 :j
Now for the confession :A this money above is safe, I have not touched it, but had a bit of a spending weekendbought the new tiles, grout, glass and emulsion for the kitchen, ordered and paid for the new worktop for the kitchen, order the wallpaper from Laura Ashley for a feature wall in the kitchen but had to have the matching mugs and chopping board, (new kitchen was fitted two years ago and have never got these finishing jobs done yet), bought the paint to finish our wardrobes (these were fitted 18 months ago and not finished too)
also they had 25% off the curtains I want for the living room when these gets done later in the year, total spent this weekend £600 :(I do feel bad in one way as this was money from my wages BUT on the other hand as we now do weekly food shopping and dont waste money willy nilly I felt comfortable spending this money AND because of the decluttering thread on here, have decluttered the kitchen totally and really would like it finishing so is in a way money well spent

This will be the first one of these I've done, for the first half of the year the money I save will be used towards my holiday of a lifetime to Florida with my partner and his family and the other half will be going into savings for a mortgage deposit
I'm a little late to the party, but I made some money on ebay sales and mysurvey this month so not too behind. If some kind soul wouldn't mind sending me the spreadsheet, that would be wonderful, I can pm my email address.£2012 in 2012 Challenge #232 : £561.29/£20120 -
As everyone is doing their updates now, I shall too
So far I have £350 which is not a bad start but that is all from overtime. The next few months are going to be overtime free as my hours have been cut back big time so I'm going to have to go at it big time with everything else.
Looks like everyone has had a decent first month though, good luck all for the next£2012 in 2012 challenge: £915.28/£2012
November £5/day challenge: £276.05/£150

Cashback: £9.43 + 1.76
Cancelled Lovefilm: £14.99

Quite far off the target for the month but I started late...hoping to pick it up properly when I'm home from university over the summer where I will have chance to ebay!0 -
Well done everyone!
here's my Jan summary
Ebay: £14
Music Magpie: £50.74
Freebies: £14.09
Money off: £55.01 (half of this was a big body shop spend with discount vouchers, plus much of the stuff I went to get was in the sale!)
Energy supplier complaint (refund): £100
Tax rebate: £372.71
Sky sports saving (cancelled!): £23
Grand total £629.55
I think this will be the best month due to the tax rebate - but off to a flying start!0 -
Wow you guys are doing great. I haven't posted yet because so far I have made nothing. Still plan to get £2012 in 2012 though, just not sure how right now...
You're all inspiring me though, so thanks:TDebt £26k 18/10/140 -
Frustratingly i'm going to be tripped up by my own rule of not counting it until it's in the bank, but the January total is still good - £219.50. So far it's mostly from sales of some bits and pieces via another forum's for-sale board, apart from that it's £22.41 from ebay, £5.64 from wombled Tesco JTD receipts, and £3.36 from Quidco.
In the next few days there's at least as much again starting to turn up from January's efforts plus some Quidco, but just too late to count for this month. There should also be a tax rebate turning up that i'd have never have thought of without this challenge, and some more ebay bits to go. So onwards and upwards0
