Please remember to PM me your totals, including your challenge number, as there are too many posts to trawl through. Thanks

I've got a good size payout due from quidco in the next few days and a couple of small ebay sales I'm waiting for payment for but I think its going to get harder as I run out of things to sell!
  • I've spent ages researching new landline and broadband deals and have finally left virgin media and we are going to save £162 this year. Have spent £40 of that on some digital freeview receiver box thing but we're still really pleased.

Also we should have an additional £50 to come back through quidco for changing

Great to see most people well on target especially clipperty. £1444.88!?!? Wow, that's amazing!

ooo, MTH - which provider (s) did you end up going with? I think I spent far too much on BB and phone each month and would like to try and cut it down a bit

Just checked my Quidco account and found I have had £15 there waiting for me but I hadn't put my bank details in - soon remedied that!!! I won't log it until the money is in my bank account but will use Quidco each time I do my online shopping :).

    Everyone is doing so well!

Frustratingly i'm going to be tripped up by my own rule of not counting it until it's in the bank, but the January total is still good - £219.50.

D'oh, I thought it was the 31st yesterday

£140.23 dropped into my account this morning and just makes it into the pot for January, taking the balance of my £2012 in 2012 savings account to £359.73 for the month, so 17.9% of the way there and Quidco in the next few days should take me to the 20% mark. Like many i've had a strong start thanks to Messrs. Amazon and ebay, so won't be doing this every month, but a good positive start to the challenge :D
  • I managed to sell my car yesterday. So that's another £350 in the pot. Bringing my January total to £380.

Been a tough personal month but hopefully February will also be good saving wise.

Well done everyone. You all seem to be doing great.

  • My total is £237.93, I'm so happy with this as jan has been a very tough month and only expected to get max £150, long may it continue!

    Well done everyone :D
    £0.00/£2014 saved!
