I'm including supermarket offers IF I wouldn't have usually bought it or it wasn't on my shopping list.0
-
I think I'm approaching this challenge slightly different from others...
I'm not including supermarket offer savings such as BOGOFs etc as I dont see these as additional saving, I have always been a frugile shopper, always gone for offers and reductions - I will only use vouchers, coupons and loyalty points as these I do believe are additional money I would otherwise have had to spend.
I only include ebay profit ie once paypal, postage and fees are paid and I am also including any additional savings such as free magazine subscription, cashback, voucher code for discounts (deliveries etc).
Anyone else approaching it like this?
I'm similar, but only count vouchers and freebies if I put the cash I would have spent in the bank instead, and ebay etc. has to be after costs - my aim is to end up with £2012 in a dedicated savings account, so unless I save it it doesn't count.
Will be nice if I make it, but does make it trickier - I kind of know how i'll get to £1k, but the second lap may be hard...0 -
Added £3 mysurvey reward, superpoints payment and a few piddly ebay sales to my total. But it has taken me over the £300 mark so yay0

quick update from me
website one - mailing list sent out, now over 300 members, google adsense did best ever month since blah 2008
website two - renamed it, bought domain name, google adsense doing well on it already, just over 100 members now, need to get mailing list sorted out ready for sending, looking good and pleased with it
surveys - bit slow on doing them, overtime at work, OH bust his headphones so used mine, he's got new ones now so time to play catch up, already had one payment from crowdology (not added to total yet) and waiting for another one coming in0 -
Just been paid £11.76 interest by my bank (I have always refused to pay for a bank account) but recently changed one part of my account so that (although still free) I get a really good amount of interest so I have transferred that into my 2012 account. Have also transferred another £7.50 thanks to my saving on my Sainsbury's shop the other day (was all Nectar points but £2.50 was standard points and the other £5 based on a complaint I made).
Now have £57.97 but still waiting to spend my £100 super cheque from OH at Mothercare before I count that plus over £100 from ebay which OH waiting to transfer to his account to transfer to mine.
Think I'm still on track though.

File a non-paying bidder against them
This is what I do ..
When the auction ends - send invoice
Day 2 - wait
Day 3 - send invoice again
Day 4 - wait
Day 5 - send invoice
Day 6 - slap them with a non-paying bidder
No point sending a message, send them the invoice0 -

ive just done the above. they paid right away, as if by magic. however, i had a really bad feeling about them, i had a vibe they would say theres a prob, and if i asked for the item back, smash it outta spite or somat, so i told them i would refund the money. i did just that. then i contacted ebay for a final value fee refund. i read loads about the non paying bidder thing, and its nothing really, it doesnt stop them buying or owt, not right away. ebay dont protect sellers anymore, just buyers, who get away with all sorts now. siiiiigh.:hello:
